As the central viewing area, it boasts breathtaking views of the New York skyline, particularly at dusk, when the setting sun intersects with the smoked cut Murano glass lamps on the wall, creating a warm and opulent ambiance. The furniture is highly stylish: the "On the Rocks" sofa, designed by Francesco Binfaré for Edra, resembles a floating cloud; the liquid metal NR 2 side table paired with a cloud-shaped footstool echoes the "soft" theme while adding a touch of modern interest.

Described by the designers as "the most special space," the centerpiece is a specially commissioned painting by French artist Toma-L (real name Thomas Labarthe), whose style is "bold, playful, and full of life," perfectly reflecting the personalities of the couple. A round travertine table, with its natural and delicate surface texture, is paired with the sculptural "Murena" chairs by Lazzarini & Pickering, creating a harmonious balance between art and function, allowing the restaurant to serve both as a dining venue and an art exhibition space.

Even with just one piece of art, the restaurant easily creates a gallery-like atmosphere, thanks to a striking painting commissioned specifically for the space by French artist Thomas Labarthe, also known as Toma-L. Although the house is only 287 square meters, it feels larger thanks to its airy layout, clever use of light, and a small selection of materials that allow each space to breathe and serve as a prelude to the next. For example, a mirror enhances the splendor of the bright hallway, while its soaring ceilings and paintings by Puebla artist H.G. Schiavon set the tone for quiet drama and the home’s thoughtful elegance.

As in the living room, plaster walls frame postcard-worthy golden hour views, bathed in the glow of Murano glass sconces at sunset. For every outdoor focal point, the designer introduced one or three indoor focal points, such as the cloud-like On the Rocks sofa by Francesco Binfaré for Edra, the liquid metal NR 2 coffee table, and the plush ottoman, all thoughtfully placed in the same room

Focusing on the balance between practicality and aesthetics, the design features a gray stone island as its centerpiece. Its unique creamy texture creates a striking visual contrast with the cream-colored "Pedro" sculptural stools, avoiding monotony and clutter. Furthermore, the designer incorporated wooden trim into the kitchen, softening the harshness of the stone and metal, and infusing the cooking space with warmth.

兼顾 “工作” 与 “待客” 双重功能，核心设计是一张隐藏式床。日常作为 Ankur 的办公空间，线条简洁、功能明确；当有亲友来访时，隐藏式床可快速展开，瞬间转换为客房，极大提升了空间利用率，避免了小户型多功能需求的尴尬。

The core design of this apartment, designed to accommodate both work and hospitality, is a concealed bed. It serves as Ankur's daily office, with clean lines and clear functionality. When friends and family visit, the concealed bed can be quickly deployed, instantly transforming it into a guest room. This significantly improves space utilization and avoids the awkward multi-functional demands of a small apartment.

定位为 “高强度工作后的休憩 refuge（避难所）”，设计极度精简。墙面采用柔和的灰色调，仅保留三大核心家具 ——Muskoka 床、定制长凳与石灰华边桌，无多余装饰。这种 “少而精” 的设计，让空间远离喧嚣，完美契合对于“宁静” 的需求。

Positioned as a "refuge after an intense workday," the design is minimalist. Walls are painted in a soft gray hue, and the space is stripped back to just three key pieces: a Muskoka bed, a custom bench, and a travertine side table. This minimalist yet refined design creates a retreat from the hustle and bustle, perfectly embracing the need for tranquility.

In contrast to the bright atmosphere of the other spaces, the dark-toned design creates an immersive and private atmosphere. It's perfect for watching movies, napping, or simply escaping from the world during busy times. The soft seating and dim lighting create a cozy and enveloping space, creating a truly relaxing corner in the apartment.

设计的平衡感，让空间既显设计质感，又无压迫感；而宁静则藏在室内的软装细节里 ，用低饱和色调与自然材质，消解了现代生活的浮躁，真正让家成为兼具美学与治愈力的庇护所。

The sense of balance in the design makes the space show both design texture and non-oppressive feeling; and tranquility is hidden in the soft furnishing details of the interior. The use of low-saturation colors and natural materials dispels the impetuousness of modern life, truly making the home a sanctuary with both aesthetics and healing power.
