The renovation of this historic residence sublimates functionalist elements into artistic narratives, and the transformation of the chimney is the perfect interpretation of this design philosophy. The original single exhaust structure was reimagined as a three-dimensional gallery in the thick wall, and the built-in frame was transformed into a stage for carrying memories, establishing a subtle dialogue between practicality and aesthetics. The design team took "cultural evolution" as the core, allowing custom furniture and century-old buildings to communicate across time and space - the texture collision of oak and dark walnut forms tactile poetics, and the material counterpoint of stone countertops and original beams composes spatial rhythm. Every detail tells of awe for history and contemporary thinking.

The spatial narrative reaches its climax on the second floor, where the designer creates the magic of the "visual corridor" with the precision of an architect. The visual axis running through the floor extends the physical boundary into a psychological picture, and the exposed log beams weave a three-dimensional grid in the three-dimensional dimension. The horizontally extended desks and low stools form spatial punctuation, and together with the vertical rhythm of the ceiling storage system, form a multi-voice spatial symphony. This subtle manipulation of the perceptual dimension transforms the heaviness of the historical structure into a flowing spatial experience, making each functional node a poetic pause in the narrative chain, and ultimately achieving a dialectical unity of protection and innovation.
