Yueyang Art Museum, affiliated with Yueyang Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio and Television, is a Category A non-profit public cultural institution integrating functions including exhibition planning, academic research, collection preservation, public education, artistic creation, and international exchange. The four-story main building spans a total floor area of 7,082.5 square meters.

The first three floors feature exhibition spaces, along with supporting facilities like a multimedia lecture hall, art salons, education rooms, and leisure areas, offering diverse cultural and aesthetic services.

In the Orient - Painting China Poetic Baling - Contemporary Chinese Painting Exhibition

此次展览是回应和践行文旅融合发展的生动案例，湖湘和岭南两地的中国画新体系，熔铸了地域文化的精神文脉，是稳定的、高度成熟的、具有区位文化特色的学脉。两地艺术家之间的思想沟通、价值形态和风格语言的互动，对于加强两地的创作交流与合作、共同推进中国画传承发展问题的研究具有重要意义。

This exhibition exemplifies the integrated development of culture and tourism, showcasing the new systems of Chinese painting from the Huxiang and Lingnan regions. These systems synthesize local cultural ethos into stable, highly refined scholarly traditions with distinct regional identities. The intellectual dialogue, shared artistic values, and stylistic exchanges between artists from both regions significantly enhance collaborative creation and advance research on inheriting and developing Chinese painting.

展览分为“春山花盛”群展和“春山花影”“山花会景”“花间意放”“砚边杂谈”“又见山花”“青山新语”6个艺术家个人专题展，展示31位艺术家160多件精品力作，这些作品跨越地域界限，共赴一场艺术的汇聚。

This exhibition features the group show "Spring Mountain in 

Contend in Beauty" and six thematic solo exhibitions—"Flower Shadows on the Azure Mountain," "A Gathering of Mountain Flowers," "Unfolding Meanings Amidst Flowers," "Miscellaneous Musings by the Inkstone," "Mountain Flowers Revisited," and "The Modern Context of 

Landscape"—showcasing over 160 exquisite works by 31 artists. These pieces transcend geographical boundaries, converging in a vibrant celebration of artistic dialogue.

Nestled by Dongting Lake, Yueyang in Hunan epitomizes the essence of the province's historical and cultural legacy, renowned across China as "Dongting's majestic waters and Yueyang Tower's timeless grandeur." Since its inauguration, Yueyang Art Museum has anchored itself in the profound Huxiang culture, dedicating its mission to preserving traditional Chinese heritage, showcasing Xiaoxiang regional identity, and promoting Baling's innovative spirit. As a pivotal cultural beacon, it serves as a center for Xiaoxiang art, a gathering place for renowned artists, a talent incubator, and a bridge for global exchange. By curating impactful exhibitions and programs, the museum shares China's stories, Huxiang's legacy, and Yueyang's spirit, elevating the city's artistic landscape while embracing its cultural mission.

展览是对湖湘文化精神的一次富有意义的传承与弘扬，是对巴陵人文资源和人文精神的当代继承和活化，凸显了新时代中国美术高质量发展中的巴陵力量，对于进一步推动湖湘与岭南两地的文化艺术交流与合作、涵养湖湘文化的人文精神具有积极意义。

This exhibition serves as a meaningful continuation and elevation of Huxiang cultural heritage, breathing contemporary vitality into Baling's humanistic resources and ethos. It spotlights Baling's pivotal role in advancing high-quality development within China's fine arts sector during the new era. By catalyzing artistic exchanges and collaborations between Huxiang and Lingnan regions, the event actively reinforces the preservation of Huxiang culture's humanistic essence while fostering cross-regional cultural synergy.

这场汇聚31位艺术家的盛宴跨越了地域界限 ，在巴陵大地碰撞出了别样的艺术火花。展览选用了Tracron M4博物馆级轨道灯，在配光精准的灯光和纯净的光色下，艺术家们的作品在引领观众们探索当代中国画的传承、发展与创新的同时，传播岳阳故事、岳阳声音。

This gathering of 31 artists transcends geographical boundaries, igniting unique artistic sparks in the Baling region. Equipped with Tracron M4 track lights, the exhibition employs precise illumination and pure chromaticity to showcase the works. While guiding audiences in exploring the inheritance, evolution, and innovation of contemporary Chinese painting, it amplifies the cultural narratives and distinctive voice of Yueyang.
