In Kuala Lumpur’s historic Medan Pasar, a beautifully restored heritage shophouse now houses an intimate private dining and event space, blending 1930s jazz bar influences with colonial architecture. Studio Illumine, in collaboration with I-Partnership, designed a lighting scheme that enhances this rich aesthetic while preserving the building’s character.

吉隆坡久负盛名的巴刹广场 (Medan Pasar) 坐落着一家独具韵味的古董店。历经岁月洗礼后，如今已被精心修缮，成为一处私密的私人用餐与活动场所。其风格融合了二十世纪三十年代爵士酒吧的韵味以及殖民时期的建筑风情。一昱照明工作室携手 I - Partnership 为此处空间打造照明设计，不仅完好保留了建筑的原有特色，更让这种独特的美感得到了进一步升华。

Respecting the façade was key—LED linear profiles subtly illuminate the upper ledge, highlighting the architectural crown, while surface-mounted uplights emphasize the vertical columns. At the entrance, wall grazers and ceiling-mounted floodlights accentuate the building’s structural elegance.

建筑外立面的设计至关重要。LED 线性灯以极为巧妙的方式照亮上方结构，将顶部装饰的独特魅力展露无遗；同时，墙面安装的投光灯则着重勾勒出立柱的挺拔线条。来到入口区域，洗墙灯沿着墙面延展铺光，天花板上的泛光灯向下倾洒光芒，淋漓尽致地展现出该建筑结构的优雅气质。

Inside, the lighting design maintains a speakeasy-inspired ambiance. Indirect lighting highlights the timber roof pitch, with track lights providing general illumination. Custom decorative sconces serve as focal points, while concealed lighting along the bar and mirrors adds depth.

室内照明设计别出心裁，不着痕迹地营造出浓郁的酒吧风格氛围。首先是间接照明悄然凸显出木质屋顶的坡度；然后借助均匀分布的轨道灯为整个室内提供照明。特别定制的装饰性台灯自然而然地成为空间焦点，吸引众人目光。吧台与镜子周边精心布置的隐藏式照明进一步为空间增添了层次感。

A dedicated stage features Stage PAR lights, moving head projectors, and RGB LED wash projectors mounted on steel trusses, with an advanced control system enabling up to 40 programmable lighting sequences.

钢桁架上安装着舞台帕灯、摇头光束灯以及 LED 全彩洗墙灯。其配备的先进控制系统极为强大，能够实现多达 40 个可编程灯光序列，轻松打造出绚丽多变的舞台灯光效果。

The design extends to a terrace, where in-ground lights highlight raw brick walls, and spiked plant lights enhance the lush greenery. By merging contemporary lighting with historic architecture, the space bridges heritage and modernity, offering a timeless yet dynamic atmosphere.

灯光还顺势延展到了露台区域。原始砖墙基部，地埋灯被悉心安置；而在葱郁的绿植丛中，刺状植物生长灯错落其间。在这里，现代照明技术与古老的历史建筑元素实现了精妙融合。二者碰撞交织，于这片空间内搭建起一座连接传统与现代的桥梁。步入其中，既能体验经典永恒，又能感受到满溢蓬勃活力的独特氛围。
