这里曾因一句皇家眷恋的 “西溪且留下”，开启了独特的历史脉络；这里也曾是明清时期杭城西部的商贸重镇，茶市喧嚣、商贾云集，无数的茶叶从这里流向全国各地，留下商业繁荣的印记；留下经历过岁月的洗礼，见证着超脱朝代物质变化之上精神的绵延进化，叠加起来的每一处都承载着历史的厚重。

Here, a royal sentiment of "Let Xixi Stay" once initiated a unique historical context; it was also a commercial town in the west of Hangzhou during the Ming and Qing dynasties, with bustling tea markets and numerous merchants, where countless teas flowed from here to all parts of the country, leaving marks of commercial prosperity. After years of baptism, "Liuxia" has witnessed the continuous evolution of the spirit beyond the material changes of dynasties, and every place stacked here carries the weight of history. 

不同的历史元素和现代生活紧密相连，内建筑提取了其中作为根基的水乡颜色，于是留下1129社区中心成就了——看似简单却又包含许多的灰色。一眼现于整座建筑统一的外貌颜色，第二眼看见神藏于灰色下的种种记忆。它不仅仅是作为一个社区中心，更是矗立在历史与现代汇点的文化精神地标，思考、续写着留下的故事。

Different historical elements are closely connected with modern life. Interior architecture studio extracts the water township colors as the foundation, so Liuxia 1129 Community Center becomes a gray color that seems simple but contains many meanings. At first glance, it is the unified appearance color of the whole building, and at the second glance, it can see various memories hidden under the gray. It is not only a community center but also a cultural and spiritual landmark standing at the meeting point of history and modernity, thinking and continuing the story of Liuxia.

First Glimpse of the Community Center

透过繁茂枝叶洒落的光斑，与建筑墙面静谧相对。恍若是穿越见到了哪面另一重世界的中国建筑面前——这是留下1129社区中心入口面外给人的第一印象。

Through the light spots falling through the luxuriant branches and leaves, there is a quiet confrontation with the building walls. It is like seeing a Chinese building from another world through time - this is the first impression given by the entrance of Liuxia 1129 Community Center.

微水泥墙面简洁的色调与质感，自然地承接了这份天然光影。让LOGO标识在光影交织下更显深邃。深望其中，或许会有这样的体验：光线穿过树叶缝隙，以不规则的形状投射在地面与墙垣，随着时间流转不断变幻，像是在建筑在自然建筑中写诗。人沉浸在时光慢流的悠然氛围里，拾得对自然与静谧空间的向往，也步入宋式美学中追求的”静、空、淡、雅“。

The simple tone and texture of the micro-cement wall naturally embrace this natural light and shadow, making the LOGO more profound amid the interweaving of light and shade. Gazing deeply into it, one might have this experience: light filters through the gaps in the leaves, projecting irregular shapes onto the ground and walls, constantly changing with the passage of time, as if the building is composing poetry in nature. Immersed in the leisurely atmosphere of slow-flowing time, people can regain their yearning for natural and quiet spaces, and also step into the "stillness, emptiness, simplicity, and elegance" pursued in Song-style aesthetics.

从古旧的木质长廊起步，目光越过繁茂枝叶，便是留下1129社区中心。玻璃上几何图案的光影，与自然的绿意交织，踏入建筑，从古朴的室外过渡到现代的室内，空间的转换如同

Starting from the old wooden corridor, beyond the luxuriant branches and leaves lies the Liuxia 1129 Community Center. The light and shadow of geometric patterns on the glass interweave with the greenery of nature. Stepping into the building, the transition from the quaint outdoor to the modern indoor space is like a dialogue between two time and space. 

周边的绿植与古朴的廊亭，勾勒出传统的底色。而建筑本身现代的材质与简洁的线条，又是创新的表达。大面积玻璃上独特的几何图案，揭露着传统元素的抽象演绎。在入口，我们就将美学、自然、宁静与建筑的秩序感所填满。

The surrounding green plants and ancient corridor pavilions outline a traditional background, while the modern materials and simple lines of the building itself express innovation. The unique geometric patterns on the large-area glass reveal an abstract interpretation of traditional elements. At the entrance, we are filled with aesthetics, nature, tranquility, and the sense of order of the building.

进入社区中心后，首入眼帘的是建筑的灰与松树蓬勃的绿意，如国画、园林等传统艺术中的和谐共生。建筑的几何线条与松树自然的曲线相互映衬，

消解了现代建筑的冷峻。水池中央的孤松宛如自然的笔触，扎根石组与绿草，既是景观焦点，也是精神锚点。水面如镜，倒映松枝与建筑，虚实交融，营造出 “建筑生长于自然，自然渗透于建筑” 的共生关系，

让二者的对话更加紧密。

For local residents, the renovated street remains an integral part of daily life—authentic street flavors and neighborly warmth persist unchanged. For visitors, it serves as an ideal gateway to experience and decode Hangzhou’s vibrant street culture, offering direct sensory encounters with the city’s urban warmth through every alley and lane, every dish and flavor.

在此游走，能真切感受到建筑对自然的尊重与接纳，内心会涌起对这种和谐关系的赞叹，领悟到人与自然本应相互依存、彼此成就，进而对这份独特的空间设计充满敬意与喜爱。内建筑即是

In the Atrium: Encountering the Water-Sky Horizon

另一重在此地的记忆是雨。

中庭，是社区中心内赏天的好围栏，这里是桓大的庭院，亦是神思勘景的禅台。

灰调天幕下

，建筑如诗行，水面作韵脚。暖光为冷硬建筑披纱，稍微高出屋脊的树梢绿意有自然落款。光影与水无语，人应与空间对谈，遁入东方美学下的当代抒情。

Another Memory of This Place: Rain.

The atrium serves as both a grand courtyard and a meditative platform for contemplating the sky, offering the best vantage point in the community center to appreciate nature’s drama. Beneath the gray-toned canopy, the architecture stands like verses in a poem, while the water’s surface becomes their rhythmic rhyme. Warm light drapes over the cool, rigid structures like a delicate veil, and the tree crowns that rise slightly above the roof ridges add a natural signature with their greenery.Here, light, shadow, and water converse in silence, while people engage in a dialogue with the space, crafting a contemporary lyrical interpretation of Eastern aesthetics. The atrium is not just a physical enclosure but a spiritual stage where the interplay of rain, architecture, and nature composes a timeless melody of tranquility and introspection.

极简线条与自然诗意交织

冷硬材质包裹自然内核，光线在建筑和水面上的变化赋予时间维度，波纹金属、哑光墙面与水面的材质对比，“留白”“借景”园林的传统文化记忆，兼具视觉美感与文化深度，既有古韵的含蓄，又具当代的克制。

After the rain, as the clouds gradually clear, the gray-toned architecture dances with its reflection on the water. A lone pine sways gently in the quiet time. The rippled roof and transparent corridor allow the water to embrace light and shadow. Here, modernity converses with tradition, where minimalist lines interweave with natural poetry. Cold, hard materials envelope a natural core, while the play of light on the architecture and water adds a dimension of time. The textural contrast between corrugated metal, matte walls, and the water surface evokes the traditional cultural memories of garden art, such as "blank space" and "borrowed scenery", not only combine visual beauty with cultural depth, but also embody the implicit charm of ancient rhyme and the restrained elegance of modernity.

大面积水面、通透连廊、开放式布局，展现一幅立体又梦幻的水天宏图。通过场所中叠加的视听触觉，使访客全身心投入空间，忘却外界。以现代材料重构了园林，

The large-scale water surface, transparent corridors, and open layout present a three-dimensional and dreamlike vision of water and sky. Through the superimposed audio-visual and tactile experiences in the space, visitors are fully immersed and forget the outside world. Modern materials are used to reconstruct the garden, integrating "ancient charm with modern style" to interpret traditional aesthetics and awaken cultural memories.

连廊是空间的开放，水镜是内心的关照，亭台是审美的复我。这方天地，是以极简之笔续写文人雅集的新篇，跨越留下地方的千年光影在建筑间流转，在现代空间中寻得回响。

The corridor represents the openness of space, the water mirror symbolizes inner reflection, and the pavilion embodies aesthetic self-awareness. In this realm, a new chapter of literati gatherings is continued with minimalist strokes. The millennium-old light and shadow of Liuxia flow between the architectural structures, finding resonance in the modern space.

庭院深几许，见月洞向冥，往复述影

How Deep is the Courtyard?

灰调、静水、松石的组合，在留下1129社区中心的庭院，有一处 “宋式禅境”，镌刻着 “物我两忘” 的安宁，如宋代文人追求的 “澄怀味象”，在喧嚣中寻得内心的静谧。

In the courtyard of Liuxia 1129 Community Center, a "Song-style Zen realm" is formed by the combination of gray tones, still water, pine and stones. It is engraved with the peace of "forgetting both things and oneself", just like the "purifying the mind to appreciate the images" pursued by the literati of the Song Dynasty, seeking inner tranquility in the hustle and bustle.

松石掩映，竹影摇窗，月洞门后藏着宋代的月光。水面倒映的不仅是建筑，更是文人的精神世界。时间可慢，空间可静，身心在宋式园林的意境中，与千年前的文人生活对话。内建筑于此传递宋代美学的“精致与含蓄”，寻得小天地的安宁。

Pine and stone stand half-concealed, bamboo shadows sway by the window, and beyond the moon-shaped gate lies the moonlight of the Song Dynasty. The water's surface reflects not only the architecture but also the spiritual world of literati. Time slows down, space grows quiet, and the body and mind engage in a dialogue with the life of scholars from a thousand years ago amid the artistic conception of Song-style gardens. Here, Interior Architecture Studio conveys the "refinement and subtlety" of Song Dynasty aesthetics, allowing one to find peace in this small world.

让「东坡的寂寞」的不寂寞

To let Su Dongpo's loneliness be no longer lonely.

东坡的寂寞，是与空山九帖联名设立的书店，在1129社区中心中面向留下大街和东面两个入口。建筑空间简洁，庭院树木象征自然生命力，与建筑的冷静形成互补，

承载着精神世界的追求

。内建筑利用建筑结构，让光线渗透每个角落。走廊、庭院，光影或明或暗，塑造出丰富空间层次。我们希望在此环境中，人们能感受到时间流动的痕迹，享受独处的安宁，获得心灵的慰藉与放松，让东坡的寂寞不寂寞。

Dongpo's Loneliness, a bookstore co-founded with Nine Calligraphies of Empty Mountains, is located at the 1129 Community Center, facing Liuxia Street and the eastern entrance. With a simple architectural space, courtyard trees symbolize natural vitality, complementing the building's calmness and carrying the pursuit of the spiritual world. Interior Architecture uses the building's structure to let light penetrate every corner. In corridors and courtyards, varying light and shadow create rich spatial layers. We hope people can sense the traces of time here, enjoy the peace of solitude, and find spiritual comfort—so that Dongpo's Loneliness is no longer lonely.

沿楼梯上行，一方开阔天地在眼前铺展，高大樟树矗立庭院，和谐着建筑与自然的界限。向下望去，建筑简洁的灰色调与树木的绿意相互映衬，阳光透过枝叶洒下斑驳光影，在地面、墙面舞动。通透的布局让自然元素肆意穿梭，室内外过渡的自然流畅，于光影变幻中，分享一种超脱的静谧。

Ascending the stairs, an open expanse unfolds before you. A tall camphor tree stands in the courtyard, blurring the boundaries between architecture and nature. Gazing downward, the building's simple gray tones contrast with the greenery of the trees, while sunlight filters through the branches, casting dappled light and shadow that dance on the ground and walls. The transparent layout allows natural elements to flow freely, creating a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors. Amidst the shifting light and shadow, a transcendent tranquility is shared.

内建筑在转角的光影与材质巧布妙局。粗糙质感的灰色墙面，搭配沉稳的地面材质，展现出质朴与真实。楼梯的金属扶手与台阶材质对比，增添了现代感与精致感。

光线从庭院大树间洒入，透过门窗渗透室内，在不同材质表面反射、折射。

Interior Architecture Studio masterfully orchestrates light, shadow, and materials at the corner. The rough-textured gray walls, paired with the steady flooring, exude simplicity and authenticity. The contrast between the metal handrails of the staircase and the step materials adds a touch of modernity and refinement. Light filters in through the courtyard’s tall trees, seeping into the interior via windows and doors, reflecting and refracting off different material surfaces. 

在室内，光影让墙面的纹理更具韵味，地面材质的质感也因光影而更显独特。这种光影与材质的协奏，不仅丰富了视觉体验，更营造出一种沉稳、内敛的氛围，让人在空间中能真切感受到建筑的温度与质感，沉醉于这一和谐的感官盛宴。

Inside, the interplay of light and shadow enhances the charm of the wall textures and accentuates the unique appeal of the flooring’s material quality.This symphony of light, shadow, and materials not only enriches the visual experience but also cultivates a calm, understated atmosphere. It allows people to truly perceive the building’s warmth and texture within the space, indulging in this harmonious sensory feast.

进入内部，从室内望向窗外，不同的光影成为空间的延伸。通透玻璃窗模糊了室内外的界限，让自然光线与景色自由穿梭。室内的书架与桌椅布局靠窗，既适合独自阅读思考，也便于人们交流分享。

Stepping inside and looking out the window, varying light and shadow become an extension of the space. The transparent glass windows blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, allowing natural light and scenery to flow freely. Bookshelves, tables, and chairs are arranged by the window, creating a space that accommodates both solitary reading and contemplation, as well as lively communication and sharing.

东坡的寂寞既

是一个阅读空间，更是自然与人文交融的场所。在自然景色的陪伴下，人们沉浸于书籍中的人文世界，汲取知识养分。

整个空间设计让人在感受自然美好的同时，也能深入探索人文内涵，实现自然与人文的共生共融。

Dongpo's Loneliness is not merely a reading space, but a realm where nature and humanity converge in harmony. Surrounded by natural scenery, visitors immerse themselves in the humanistic narratives of books, absorbing intellectual nourishment as if drinking from a quiet spring. The entire spatial design invites people to embrace the beauty of the natural world while delving into the depths of cultural connotations, achieving a seamless symbiosis between nature and humanism. Here, the rustle of leaves and the turn of a page, the warmth of sunlight and the weight of ink on paper, all coalesce into a dialogue that transcends time—a testament to how architecture can weave the tranquility of the outdoors with the richness of the mind, creating a sanctuary where both landscapes and literature breathe.

Intangible Cultural Heritage Space

留下 1129 社区中心的非遗空间，是依照解构了的风雅宋而创作的。空间内，深棕色金属网形同屏风，以一种含蓄而优雅的姿态划分区域，既保有通透感，又增添了几分私密与内敛。镜面材质如宋代文人案头的铜镜，映射出空间的层次与光影，在抬头的层叠之间望见禅远意境。

The Intangible Cultural Heritage Space within the "Liuxia 1129 Community Center" is a creation born from the deconstructed elegance of Song dynasty aesthetics. Within the space, deep brown metal mesh panels act as screen-like dividers, partitioning areas with a subtle yet elegant gesture—maintaining translucency while imbuing intimacy and restraint. Mirrored surfaces, reminiscent of copper mirrors from Song literati studies, reflect the spatial layers and light interplay, revealing Zen-like tranquility through cascading reflections that elevate the gaze toward meditative ambiance.

The Chinese-style tables and chairs, with their simple and smooth lines, resemble the outlines of utensils sketched in Song Dynasty paintings, exuding an air of antiquity and elegance. Soft light filters through the gaps in the metal mesh, akin to the moonlight in a Song Dynasty garden, creating a tranquil atmosphere that immerses visitors in the ingenuity of intangible cultural heritage craftsmanship and the beauty of Song Dynasty charm.

留下1129社区中心的

建筑外观简洁统一，线条利落，没有过多繁杂装饰，如同宋式建筑摒弃奢华，追求质朴本真。建筑色调沉稳素雅，以灰色、棕色等低调色彩为主，亦贴近宋画中水墨晕染的淡雅意境，深含宋式美学内敛含蓄的特质。内建筑通过在当代喧嚣中创造这种简约内敛的形制，为人们提供别样的、能让心灵沉淀、回归宁静的空间。

The architectural exterior of Liuxia 1129 Community Center is simple and unified, with clean lines and no excessive ornate decorations—much like Song Dynasty architecture, which eschewed luxury in pursuit of simplicity and authenticity. The building’s color palette is calm and elegant, dominated by understated hues such as gray and brown, echoing the subtle charm of ink wash blending in Song Dynasty paintings and embodying the reserved and subtle of Song-style aesthetics.Interior Architecture Studio hopes that in the midst of contemporary hustle and bustle, this minimalist and restrained form will provide people with a unique space where the mind can settle and return to tranquility.

这里也关注与自然的互动，如室内透过大窗引入室外水景、树影，营造出自然与建筑相融的氛围。契合留下文化源头的崇尚自然、追求 “天人合一” 宋式理念契合。我们希望通过这样的设计，让人们身处都市，也能感受自然之美，重拾与自然的情感连接，尝试让宋式自然观在当代建筑中的延续。

Here, equal emphasis is placed on interaction with nature. For instance, large windows introduce outdoor water scenes and tree shadows into the interior, creating an atmosphere where nature and architecture blend seamlessly. This design aligns with the Song Dynasty philosophy of advocating for nature and pursuing "harmony between man and nature"—the cultural origin of Liuxia. Through such design, we hope to enable people in the city to experience the beauty of nature, rediscover emotional connections with the natural world, and attempt to carry forward the Song Dynasty concept of nature in contemporary architecture.

Future Continuity

留下1129宋式美学街区的改造，自去年11月29日拉开帷幕，便已在内建筑设计团队的脑内初具端倪。

如今，从留下 1129 社区中心延展，便能预见未来留下古街的全新模样。

未来，这里将是一幅宋韵文化与现代生活交织融合的新生态。未来的留下古街，在保留、重构传统宋式建筑的飞檐粉墙黛瓦等元素同事，以同构拓扑加入进现代工艺与舒适理念，让每一处亭台楼阁、每一条街巷弄堂，同时散发着古朴而又时尚的独特魅力。

The renovation of Liuxia 1129 Song-Style Aesthetics Block began last November 29, taking initial shape in the minds of the Interior Architecture design team. Today, extending from the Liuxia 1129 Community Center, one can already foresee the brand-new appearance of the future Liuxia Ancient Street. Here, a new ecosystem will emerge where Song Dynasty charm and modern life intertwine.I

n the future, while preserving and reconstructing traditional Song-style architectural elements such as upturned eaves, pink walls, and black tiles, Liuxia Ancient Street will integrate modern craftsmanship and comfort concepts through isomorphic topology. This will endow every pavilion, terrace, pavilion, and street alley with a unique charm that exudes both antiquity and modernity, creating a seamless blend of past and present.

Taking Song Dynasty architecture as the blueprint, the design outlines the elegant contours of an aesthetic lifestyle block; modern materials and techniques are interwoven with glass curtain walls and minimalist interiors, both inspired by and reinterpreting Song-style aesthetics. The functional layout of the block will become more diverse and vibrant, integrating culture, entertainment, dining, and art, while commercial formats will undergo innovative upgrades. By breaking the boundaries between tradition and history, people can both appreciate the profound heritage of Song-style aesthetics and experience the dynamic vitality of a contemporary cultural community, unlocking the unique code of this era's Song-charm block. Here, Song-style aesthetics and traditional culture are no longer untouchable treasures, but are integrated into everyone's life in a more accessible way.
