 Blacksheep Espresso 

合作，设计了在东京代官山的新咖啡店。代官山以

Hillside Terrace

为代表，是东京众多地区中充满小巷与隐蔽空间的丰富场所。我们希望打造一个如同“城市壁龛”般的咖啡馆，能呼应代官山特有的城市尺度。

Kooo 

architects has once again collaborated with Blacksheep Espresso to design a new café in Daikanyama, Tokyo. Known for its Hillside Terrace and its network of small alleys and hidden corners, Daikanyama offers a unique urban scale. We envisioned the café as an “urban niche,” a place that resonates with this particular atmosphere of the neighborhood.

The site is compact—only 37 m² with a frontage of 3.7 meters. Within this narrow and elongated space, our aim was to create a comfortable, natural, and approachable resting spot by relying on simple, authentic materials and minimal design interventions.

店铺地面延续了室外原有水洗石铺装，模糊和街道的界限。内部裸露原有墙面，保留原有的混凝土基层，施工痕迹成为空间记忆的一部分，同时在原有的混凝土基础上，加入一些天然的材质进行对比。减少材料的添加，让空间尽量融入街区氛围。

The flooring continues the existing exposed aggregate finish from the street into the shop, blurring the boundary with the exterior. Inside, the original concrete base layer of the walls is revealed, keeping the traces of construction as part of the spatial memory. Against this raw backdrop, natural materials were introduced to create contrast. By limiting additional finishes, the interior integrates seamlessly into the surrounding streetscape.

当客人从街道看向店内，白蜡实木打造的吧台与背景墙矗立在粗犷的混凝土空间中，天然木纹展现着原始美感。吧台主体采用温暖的白蜡木，搭配白色人造石台面，木材的自然纹理与石材的实用功能相得益彰。

上方的悬吊柜体巧妙整合了收纳、照明与音响系统，高效利用了有限的空间。

From the street, the solid ash wood counter and backdrop stand out against the rough concrete walls, with the natural wood grain expressing its raw beauty. The counter itself combines warm ash wood with a white artificial stone top—balancing the materiality of wood with the practicality of stone. Above, suspended cabinetry integrates storage, lighting, and audio systems, making efficient use of the limited space.

座位沿街布置，让顾客在享用咖啡时能近距离感受街道的活力，并且呈现出轻松的氛围与开放的姿态。

Seating is placed along the street façade, allowing customers to feel the energy of the neighborhood while enjoying coffee in a relaxed, open atmosphere.

为适应有限空间，我们在店铺两侧设计了模数化联排座椅（

）。柳桉多层板构成的座椅主体通过

切角工艺，充分展现木材天然肌理。灰色免漆板饰面使其与空间和谐相融，而隐藏式抽屉与可移动小桌的设计则提供了灵活的使用可能，在晴好天气时，这些小桌可移至室外，形成临时的街边休憩。

To maximize the use of the limited area, modular bench seating units (500×500×400mm) were installed on both sides of the shop. Made from laminated eucalyptus plywood with 45° chamfered edges, they highlight the natural texture of the wood. The gray laminated finish blends seamlessly with the interior, while hidden drawers and movable small tables provide flexibility. On sunny days, these tables can be moved outdoors, creating an informal sidewalk café setting.

Blacksheep Espresso 

代官山店区别于传统咖啡馆的固定座位模式，将空间转化为城市中的公共长椅。在这里，顾客可以像在街边小憩般自在停留，享受片刻宁静。整个空间的设计语言，都围绕着这种轻松随性的都市休憩体验而展开。

Unlike traditional cafés with fixed seating, Blacksheep Espresso Daikanyama transforms its space into an urban public bench. Here, 

visitors can pause as casually as if resting on a street-side bench, enjoying a brief moment of calm. The entire design langua

ge is dedicated to evoking this sense of easy, spontaneous urban relaxation.
