Red Dot Award 2025: Winning Project

心诺普医疗是一家心脏电生理器械公司，其总部由一座废弃的工厂改造而成。工厂最初只有一座单层混凝土建筑，后来扩建了一座两层钢结构建筑。新的设计向心脏 “生命的律动 ”致敬，隐喻了工厂所历经的两个历史阶段，体现了设计师对 “简单、纯粹、永恒、不费力 ”的美学追求

Synaptic Medical, a cardiac electrophysiology company, has been transformed from an abandoned factory that started as a single-story concrete building and later expanded to include a two-story steel structure. The design pays homage to the "Rhythm of Life" and reflects the two historical phases embedded in the factory's history, embodying the principles of "Simple, Pure, Timeless, and Effortless."

定而持续，没有随意的波动。基于此理念，建筑设计中仅引入了两个基本的设计元素：在原有的一层混凝土结构上引入混凝土拱券元素，在原有的两层钢结构上引入工字钢垂直条纹元素。主入口露天拱廊的中央一跨上，是一块镂空有心诺

eadily and consistently, without arbitrary fluctuations. In line with this concept, two fundamental design elements are introduced to symbolize adaptive reuse: a concrete arch element atop the original one-story concrete structure and an I-beam vertical stripe element above the original two-story steel structure. The central span of the main entrance's open-air arcade is covered with a roof panel featuring the Synaptic logo. The shadow of the logo under the sunlight shifts gently over time.

室内设计将混凝土和钢材作为主要材料，反映了原工厂所使用的结构材料。木饰面作为第三种材料，为原本简单纯粹的工业风格增添了一丝温暖。长 60 米、宽 40 米的两层大跨度钢结构建筑的二楼被改造成了办公空间，通过条形天窗引入自然光。室内大空间通过引入一系列 “创新部落”，如位于周边的“混凝土部落”和中央的“玻璃与金属部落”，创造出了近人尺度上的活动空间，如会议室、茶水间和经理办公室。剩余的大空间设计为开放式办公室，保留了原厂房的大跨空间的特质。

The interior design incorporates both concrete and steel as primary materials, reflecting the structural materials of the original factory. Wood veneer is introduced as a third material, adding a touch of warmth to the otherwise simple and pure industrial style. The second floor of the two-story, large-span steel structure, measuring 60 meters in length and 40 meters in width, has been transformed into office space. Linear skylights have been installed to bring in natural light. By integrating a series of "innovative clusters," the surrounding concrete clusters and the central glass and metal clusters create human-scale spaces, including meeting rooms, pantries, and managerial offices. The remainder of the space is designed as an open office, preserving the large-span qualities of the original factory building.
