“Islands of Curtains” is a site-specific textile installation inspired by everyday gestures such as hanging laundry, stretching fishing nets, or creating improvised shades. These suspended textile modules evoke informal acts of marking space — domestic, collective, and transitional. Using modular frames and fabrics of different densities and transparencies, the installation becomes a filter that responds to wind, light, and movement. Each curtain creates a soft boundary, offering zones of shelter, passage, and reflection. The project merges the language of architecture with ordinary rituals, transforming them into a shared spatial experience.
