Bab El Ma'rifah Educational Theater

The “Bab Al-Ma'rifah School Theater” project in Saudi Arabia was one of the most challenging projects I’ve worked on. The main difficulty was that the theater had already been built within the existing school structure, with all electrical and other services in place.

My role began with assessing the current conditions, reorganizing the seating layout, and carefully recalculating all levels to accommodate a larger audience while ensuring clear sightlines for every viewer.

After completing the architectural design, my colleagues in the office proceeded with the interior design. The project then came back to me to produce all the shop drawings for the cladding and ceilings.
