Text description provided by the architects. In Noventa Vicentina, a new kindergarten reimagines the educational experience, turning architecture into an ally for growth and discovery. Realized with the support of PNRR funds, the building stands on a 2,300 m² plot with a constructed area of 750 m². Its compact yet generous volume is oriented toward the large eastern garden, the true green heart of the school.

The exterior façade, painted in a vibrant blue, establishes a dialogue with the sky and surrounding landscape, while the chamfered corners generate shifting patterns of light and shadow throughout the day, adding movement and depth to the building's geometry.

Inside, the layout is organized into two main functional areas. The first hosts spaces accessible to the public, including flexible workshops that can accommodate community activities, supported by easily accessible service areas. The second is dedicated to the daily life of the kindergarten and is structured around two autonomous classroom clusters, each equipped with independent facilities and covered outdoor spaces. A nap room and a support area with storage and laundry complete the program.

The wide, luminous corridors act as experiential pathways, places for play and social interaction where natural light enters through large openings, creating direct visual connections to the garden and reinforcing the continuity between indoors and outdoors.

Canopies and shading systems modulate solar exposure, ensuring thermal comfort in every season. Integrated technologies allow constant monitoring of indoor microclimatic conditions, in line with NZEB standards. The project represents a concrete investment in educational quality and territorial sustainability, offering an architecture attentive to well-being, natural light, and environmental connection. This kindergarten is not simply a building but a small educational landscape where architecture, nature, color, and pedagogy intertwine, transforming each school day into an experience of discovery, growth, and play.
