Order defines the boundaries between “things” and “objects”; humans, on the other hand, move freely in the space between “emptiness” and “intermediacy”.

Order is not a form of restriction on people; rather, it represents the freedom that comes with having a home.

项目是一套三居室的平层住宅，主人只有两个常用的卧室需求，因此我们将原有餐厨旁的卧室打开，将其融合成中岛式的大厨房，也把客餐厅的家具物品以及收纳布置和动线进行重组，在拓展场景可能性且保有功能完整性的前提下充分的让空间融合起来，使其具备不同场景下使用的弹性 ，我们希望空间是包裹且包容的，也是开放且流动的。

The project involves the renovation of a three-bedroom apartment. Since the owner only needed two bedrooms for daily use, we decided to convert the bedroom located next to the kitchen into an island-style kitchen. At the same time, we reorganized the furniture, storage facilities, and circulation patterns in the living room and dining area. By doing so, we not only expanded the functional possibilities of the space but also ensured its integrity as a functional unit. The goal was to create a space that is both enclosed and inclusive, yet also open and fluid in its layout.

室隐于序，穿行其间

Rooms Concealed in Sequence, Traversed in Between

餐厅处于入口视野和全屋动线汇集的中心，五扇门（入户门+主卧门+次卧门+厨房门+客卫干区门）都朝向餐厅开放，混乱的墙面开口和动线都需要得到整理，因此我们通过圆桌的摆放形成洄游的核心，再结合墙面比例及材质的划分将门很好的藏于四周.

The restaurant is located at the center of the entrance area and the entire flow of movement within the house. All five doors – the entrance door, the door to the master bedroom, the door to the secondary bedroom, the door to the kitchen, and the door to the dry area of the guest bathroom – all lead to the restaurant. The chaotic arrangement of wall openings and the complex flow of movement within the space needed to be organized. To achieve this, we used round tables to create a central “core” that guided the visitors through the space. Additionally, by carefully arranging the walls and using different materials, we managed to conceal the doors effectively, making them virtually invisible from the surrounding areas.

入口正对的墙面既是餐厅的背景也是玄关，门墙柜一体深浅分色的墙面形式划定出视觉节奏，主卧的门藏于墙面形式之中，和客厅收纳柜的厚薄过渡处通过弧形转角形成端景位，让空间在整体化的秩序之中也留有局部的松驰感。

The wall directly opposite the entrance serves both as the backdrop for the restaurant and as the entrance area. The wall, which combines a door, a wardrobe, and other elements, features a color gradient that creates a visual rhythm. The door to the master bedroom is concealed within this wall structure; the transition between the thickness of the wardrobe in the living room and the wall is smoothly facilitated by an arched corner, creating a visually pleasing focal point. This design ensures that the space maintains an overall sense of order while also providing areas of relaxation.

餐厅两侧的口袋格栅门分别通往客卫和厨房，开合之间划定空间边界，但本身也作为一种线条和质感同艺术质感的墙面及挂画成为整个客餐厅的背景。

The pocket-grilled doors on both sides of the restaurant lead to the guest bathroom and the kitchen, respectively. Their opening and closing create clear boundaries between the different areas. At the same time, these doors also serve as a visual element that complements the artistic design of the walls and the paintings, forming a cohesive background for the entire dining area.

餐厅选用 Roche bobois 罗奇堡经典的 AQUA 水滴餐桌，抛光雕刻而成的水滴石材造型仿佛时间静止于此，简约而又极具视觉张力，火烧面的桌面质感搭配 Wiggle Chair 瓦楞椅和另外两把弧形各异的椅子，让空间增添几份艺术张力。

The restaurant has chosen the classic AQUA water-drop-shaped dining tables from Roche Bobois. The water-drop-shaped surfaces of these tables, crafted through polishing and carving, seem to freeze time in their midst – they are both simple in design and visually stunning. The textured surfaces of these tables, combined with the Wiggle Chair and the two other chairs with their unique,curved designs, add a touch of artistic elegance to the space.

无序之序 隐逸于间

Order in Disorder, Seclusion Within

在极简的秩序感与松弛感的无序之间找到一种接近于居住者本身生活状态的空间建构方式，一切形式基于生活的内容和空间限制的平衡中产生。

Finding a way to construct spaces that reflect the living conditions of the inhabitants themselves, by striking a balance between a sense of minimalism and a sense of disorder. All forms are derived from the balance between the content of daily life and the limitations of the available space.

客厅使用的是写意空间经典款的 Prado 普拉多沙发，随机可灵活移动的靠背系统让人的活动围绕着沙发有更多的可能性，无论是面窗而坐，迎窗观景，还是和餐厅之间都能形成有趣的交互场景。

The living room is equipped with the classic Prado sofa from the “ Free-Styling Space ” series. Its flexible backrest system allows for a wide range of seating options – whether you prefer to sit facing the window and enjoy the view, or to create an interesting interaction area with the dining room.

很多时候人对空间的感知并不仅仅由视野所及而定，更在于在空间中的行走方式，和行走路径的可能性，空间体验的丰富度能带来多维度的情绪感受，中置沙发让人的活动轨迹具备流动性，而 Prado 沙发加重型的座椅靠包时尚且充满细节，无需其他任何支撑物便可单独放置于沙发或是地面上，无论是围坐在茶几旁，享受闲暇的午后时光，又或是慵懒的一天，在沙发上小憩，都让空间随着人的状态需求变换着不同的情绪表情。

In many cases, a person’s perception of a space is not solely determined by what they can see; it is also influenced by the way they move within that space and the possibilities offered by the available paths for movement. The richness of the spatial experience can evoke a variety of emotional responses. The central-positioned sofa creates a sense of mobility in the movement patterns of the users. As for the Prado sofa, its heavily padded seat backs are stylish and feature intricate details; they can be placed independently on the sofa or on the floor without the need for any additional supports. Whether you choose to gather around the coffee table and enjoy a leisurely afternoon, or to relax on the sofa during a lazy day, the space itself transforms to reflect the user ’s current state of mind and emotional needs.

拉开生活的序幕 Curtain Up on Life

餐厅格栅口袋门后面是厨卫的主体空间，打开门如同拉开生活的序幕，关于柴米油盐的一切在此处展开。

Behind the grille-doored compartment in the restaurant is the main area where the kitchen and bathroom are located. Opening this door is like kicking off the daily routine of life; everything related to the necessities of daily life takes place here.

原有的餐厨空间都很小，我们将原厨房旁边的空间纳入做成整体的厨房，中西厨按操作逻辑环绕中岛罗列，中间的中岛也能承担部分功能场景的操作，以及一些临时场景的就餐台面或用作早餐台。

The original kitchen spaces were quite small. We incorporated the space next to the original kitchen into the new kitchen design, arranging the Chinese and Western kitchens around the central island according to their respective operational requirements. The central island also serves multiple functions: it can be used for carrying out various tasks, as a dining surface for temporary occasions, or even as a breakfast table.

岛台与公区隔门而观，和客厅之间形成有趣的对景关系，弧形转角的玄关端景台也给厨房增添一处不经意的小景观。

The island counter and the common areas are separated by a door, creating an interesting visual contrast with the living room. The decorative counter located at the curved entrance also adds a charming, subtle element to the kitchen’s design.

经过格栅门过渡到整体的客卫家政干区，再进入客卫，主卫经由主卧衣帽间过渡进入，在空间条件允许的前提下我们在布局展开面上拉开空间净污分区的距离，让生活在空间的每个角落都有条不紊地展开。

The area dedicated to household chores in the guest bathroom transitions smoothly through the grille door into the main bathroom area. The master bathroom is connected to the master bedroom’s wardrobe. Whenever space permits, we make sure to maintain a clear separation between the clean and dirty areas within the layout, ensuring that every corner of the space is well-organized and functional.

序隐于此

Poetic Seclusion

柔和的阳光在午后洒落，光影穿梭于空间罅隙，与墙面斑驳的肌理，浑然天成的木饰面，美好的器物相互交叠，朦胧又迷人，沉淀在岁月里，把时光静谧收藏，也将梦隐于此处。

In the afternoon, the soft sunlight filters through the gaps in the space, blending with the mottled patterns on the walls and the naturally formed wooden surfaces. Beautiful objects intersect with each other, creating a hazy yet enchanting atmosphere. Over the years, this scene has become a place where time is quietly preserved, and where dreams are hidden away.

经由客厅另一扇隐形门进入次卧，为避免侧置衣柜压缩卧室整体及入口的空间感受，我们将吊置衣柜和床头平台结合做收纳功能式的床头背景，既满足四门的衣柜储物量，又能够最大限度的结合空间限制去释放空间尺度。

Entering the secondary bedroom through another hidden door located in the living room, we decided not to use a side-mounted wardrobe, as this would have reduced the overall space available in the bedroom as well as the feel of the entrance area. Instead, we combined a hanging wardrobe with a nightstand to create a functional storage solution that also serves as a decorative element at the head of the bed. This design not only provides sufficient storage space thanks to the four-door wardrobe but also makes the most of the available space, thus maximizing the room’s functionality.
