旧戏台的再生

Regeneration of the Old Stage

本项目位于深圳光明区一个典型的农村态城中村，周边由老村落、工厂、农田与新区规划地块交织而成。戏台作为村落的精神核心，曾承载传统表演、集会与节庆仪式，但随着设施老旧、功能单一及空间割裂，它逐渐“空洞化”，日常使用的人较少。设计以“让戏台的角色，从空洞到多面”为出发点，通过戏剧化的空间语言与结构介入，重塑一个连接过去与现在、村落与城市的多维公共空间，使戏台不仅承载记忆与集体活动，更成为社区日常生活的一部分。

Located in Guangming District, Shenzhen, the project sits within a typical urban village where old settlements, factories, farmlands, and new developments intertwine. Once the spiritual core of the community, the stage had traditionally hosted performances, festivals, and communal gatherings. However, due to outdated facilities, singular functionality, and spatial disconnection, it had fallen into disuse. The design aims to “transform the stage from hollow to multifaceted,” using theatrical spatial language and structural interventions to rebuild a multi-dimensional public space that bridges tradition and modernity, the village and the city—turning the stage from a mere memory container into an active part of everyday community life.

从“平台”到“场所”

From “Platform” to “Place”

原有戏台抬高于地面，与周边广场存在明显高差。设计顺势将这一高差转化为层层退台的阶梯式广场，使戏台既保留了传统表演的仪式性，又成为日常活动中可坐可憩的开放空间。台阶的布置兼顾舒适性与可达性，侧面增设了无障碍坡道，让儿童、老人及社区居民都能自由使用，使原本仅供观看的“舞台”转化为一个人人可参与的社区活动中心。

The original stage was elevated above the ground, creating a noticeable height difference with the surrounding plaza. The design transforms this level change into a series of stepped terraces, retaining the ceremonial sense of traditional performance while creating an accessible and comfortable public space for daily use. The arrangement of steps ensures ease of access for children, the elderly, and other residents, evolving the stage from a “place of viewing” into a participatory community hub.

多元活动的公共界面

A Multifunctional Public Interface

戏台前的广场经过重新组织，形成兼具社交、集会、休憩与活动功能的多元空间。通过不同尺度的铺装和老瓦片组合形成肌理，广场能够在剧场、集市、节庆活动及日常生活之间自由切换，回应村落多样化的使用需求。空间布局强调开放性与包容性，让社区成员在此能够交流、互动与休憩，广场成为连接戏台、村落与自然景观的公共节点。

The plaza in front of the stage has been reorganized into a multifunctional space that accommodates socializing, gatherings, leisure, and various activities. By combining paving of different scales with old roof tiles to create a rich texture, the plaza can freely shift between serving as a theater, marketplace, festival venue, or everyday living space—responding to the diverse needs of village life. The spatial layout emphasizes openness and inclusiveness, inviting community members to communicate, interact, and relax. In this way, the plaza becomes a public node that connects the stage, the village, and the surrounding natural landscape.

透明与包裹之间

Between Transparency and Enclosure

设计保留原有戏台主体，并以新的框架与半透明表皮材料将其包裹。新旧之间的层叠形成丰富的视觉效果，也呼应周边工厂建筑的桁架逻辑。通透的材质让光影自由渗入，使戏台在白天与夜晚呈现不同的空间表情。材料选择兼顾耐久性与现代感，让传统结构在新表皮下焕发新的生命，同时保持对村落肌理与自然环境的敏感呼应。▼材料策略，material diagram © 自组空间设计

The existing structural framework of the stage is retained and wrapped with a new system of frames and translucent materials. The layering between old and new creates rich visual effects while echoing the truss logic of nearby factory buildings. The translucent materials allow light and shadow to permeate the space, giving the stage different spatial expressions during day and night. Material selection balances durability and modernity, allowing the traditional structure to gain new life while maintaining sensitivity to the village fabric and natural surroundings.

立体化的观景体验

A Three-Dimensional Viewing Experience

原有戏台空间虽高挑宽敞，但使用功能单一。设计在其结构上增加轻质楼梯与平台，形成新的二层观景层。人们可以登上平台远眺村落、农田与远山，台面与空间的层次变化使观看与被观看的关系在场所中不断转换。立体化的设计不仅丰富了空间体验，也增强了戏台的参与性，使其成为村落与自然景观之间的多维界面。

The original stage was tall yet spatially singular. The design adds a lightweight staircase and platform to create a new second-level viewing deck. Visitors can ascend to overlook the village, farmland, and distant hills, with the layered spatial arrangement enabling a continuous interplay between viewing and being viewed. This three-dimensional design enriches spatial experience and enhances participation, making the stage a multi-dimensional interface linking the village and surrounding landscape.

结语

Conclusion

通过戏台的更新改造，设计让这一传统表演空间成为开放、立体、充满生活气息的公共场所。它不再只是承载村落礼仪节庆的容器，而是一个不断生成社区关系与文化对话的多维空间。人们在这里观看、休憩、交流，体验过去与现在、日常与文艺，村落与自然交融的丰富场景，赋予旧戏台新的生命与意义。

Through the renovation of the stage, the design transforms this traditional performance space into an open, multi-layered, and vibrant public place. It is no longer merely a container of village memory, but a multi-dimensional space that continuously generates community connections and cultural dialogues. Here, people watch, relax, and interact, experiencing a rich interplay of tradition and modernity, culture and nature, giving the old stage new life and meaning.
