张江科学之门项目由陆家嘴集团和张江集团及张江高科联合开发,坐落于张江科学城核心区。作为面向全球的创新门户,它承载着建设“国际一流科学城”的战略使命,是连接全球科创资源、展示城市创新实力的重要舞台。该项目以两栋320米的超高层塔楼为核心,集成办公、商业、酒店、公寓、文化等多元业态,旨在为从初创企业到国际总部的多元创新主体提供灵活多样的空间,致力于打造一个产城深度融合、宜业宜居、充满活力的现代都市社区。
Located in the core area of Zhangjiang Science City, theZhangjiang Science GateTowers stands as an innovation portal to the world. Co-developed by Lujiazui Group, Zhangjiang Group and Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park Development Company, the project bears the strategic mission of building an “international first-class science city” and serves as a vital platform connecting global scientific resources and showcasing the city’s innovation capabilities. The project comprises two320-meter super-high-rise towersthat integrate diverse functions such as office spaces, commerce, hotels, apartments, and culture. This mix provides flexible and varied spaces for a wide range of innovators, from startups to international headquarters, aiming to create a modern urban community that blends industry with city life, suitable for work and living, and is full of vitality.

项目的整体设计概念主要围绕以下三大核心策略展开:
1)长效公共空间设计
在环境营造上,项目注重塑造开放、立体且富有活力的城市界面。其规划通过精细组织地上连廊系统与整体开发地下空间,实现地块间的高效互联,并与城市轨道交通无缝衔接,构建高效协同的城市架构。同时,通过“步行优先”的慢行网络主导地面层,释放出连续的公共空间,鼓励人群的自由流动与多样互动,从而助力科学城创新生态圈的持续建设与发展。
2)弹性功能设计
在功能布局上,设计充分考虑了未来发展的多样性与不确定性。不同于传统超高层标准层设计,塔楼提供了从4.5米到20米不等的多元层高选择,以满足办公、发布、展览等多种场景需求。特别在300米高的塔冠空间,设计有可折叠天窗,实现了室内外场景的自由切换。结构柱被巧妙推至幕墙外沿,服务设施整合进核心筒,极大释放了室内空间的灵活性与适应性,为各类创新企业的长期发展预留了充分的可能性。
3)创新符号设计

The overall design concept of the project is centered around the following three core strategies:
1) Resilient Public Space Design
With focus on the Zhangjiang Science City district, the goal is to foster the development of the science city’s innovation ecosystem by creating an open, three-dimensional, and dynamic urban interface.
2) Adaptive Functional Design
In terms of functional layout, the design fully considers the diversity and future development, reserving flexible spaces for the long - term growth of various innovative enterprises.
3) Designing an Icon for Innovation
The design aims to skillfully blend the rational order of science with the organic and perceptual aesthetics of humanity through a simple yet powerful architectural facade language, endowing the project with a forward - looking vision and a unique spirit of innovation.

Zhangjiang Science Gate Towers has been awarded the CTBUH 2025 Best Tall Building (300 meters and above). The award’s evaluation criteria encompass multiple dimensions including the building’s sustainability, innovation, functional layout, and positive contributions to the urban living environment.This accolade not only signifies international recognition of project’s outstanding design philosophy and engineering execution, but also significantly elevates the global profile and distinctiveness of Zhangjiang Science City as a world-class hub for innovation. It adds considerable weight to its efforts in building an international brand and attracting global innovation resources.

Connecting Urban Fabric, Activating Spatial Vitality
在项目规划之初,业主便确立了前瞻性的整体发展愿景:通过地下空间的整体开发与地上连廊系统的精细组织,实现地块之间的高效互联互通,并与城市轨道交通形成无缝衔接,全面整合办公、商业与酒店等多元功能,构建一个高效协同的城市架构。
From the outset of the project’s planning, the client established a forward-looking overall development vision: to achieve efficient interconnection between plots through the comprehensive development of underground space and the meticulous organization of an above-ground skybridge system. This integrates seamlessly with urban subway transit, fully combining diverse functions like offices, commerce, and hotels to construct a highly efficient and synergistic urban framework.

规划通过将地面交通系统下沉至地下层级,使地下空间与张江科学城核心区主干交通体系贯通,从而最大化释放地面公共空间。与此同时,地面层以“步行优先”的慢性网络作为主导,打造连续且友好的慢行系统,鼓励人群自由流动与多样互动,营造宜人的城市公共界面。
The plan involves sinking the ground traffic system to an underground level, connecting the underground space with the main transportation system of the Zhangjiang Science City core area, thereby maximizing the release of ground-level public space . Simultaneously, the ground level is dominated by a “pedestrian-first” slow-moving network, creating a continuous and friendly circulation system that encourages free movement and diverse interactions, resulting in a pleasant urban public interface.

弹性设计,预留未来的增长空间
Adaptive Design, Reserving Space for Future Growth
不同于传统超高层“千篇一律”的标准层设计,Gensler 借助多年全球研究与创新经验,重新定义了超高层办公空间的未来可能。项目塔楼提供从 4.5 米、6 米、9 米、14 米到 20 米不等的多元层高,为办公、直播发布、品牌活动、会议展览等多种场景打造灵活而高效的使用平台。
Diverging from the standardized floor plates typical of conventional supertall buildings, Gensler leveraged its global research and innovation experience to redefine the future possibilities of office spaces in supertall structures . The project’s towers offer varied ceiling heights, including 4.5 meters, 6 meters, 9 meters, 14 meters, and up to 20 meters, creating flexible and efficient platforms for various scenarios such as offices, live broadcasts, brand events, and exhibitions.

在 300 米的高空之上,项目打造了16米高的塔冠空间,重新定义了超高层塔冠的使用边界与想象力。可折叠天窗的设计实现了室内外场景的自由切换,模糊了空间界限,为多元活动与沉浸式体验创造了无限可能。
At an elevation of over 300 meters, the project features a tower crown space with a clear height of 16 meters, redefining the use and potential of a supertall tower’s summit . The design of a foldable skylight allows for seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor scenes, blurring spatial boundaries and creating limitless possibilities for diverse activities and immersive experiences.

结构柱被巧妙地推至幕墙外沿,极大释放了室内空间进深;服务与配套设施则被整合进核心筒之中,为空间的灵活运用预留了最大自由度。得益于这种高适应性的空间设计,塔冠不仅能满足发布会、路演、宴会、商务会客等多重功能需求,也能成为俯瞰城市的观光平台,化身城市天际线之上的“高空会客厅”。
The structural columns are cleverly pushed to the curtain wall’s edge, significantly freeing up the depth of the interior space; service and ancillary facilities are integrated into the core, reserving maximum freedom for flexible space utilization. Thanks to this highly adaptable spatial design, the tower crown can meet multiple functional needs, including product launches, roadshows, banquets, and business meetings, while also serving as an observation platform overlooking the city, becoming a “high-altitude reception room” above the skyline.

This high degree of adaptability reflects not only the diversity of spatial functions but also a strategic layout for the future. By accommodating the different ceiling height requirements for offices and R&D in cutting-edge industries like integrated circuits, biomedicine, and artificial intelligence, the towers will become a central hub for the convergence and innovation of future high-tech R&D enterprises.

立面造型演绎科技之美
Facade Design Interpreting the Beauty of Technology
张江科学之门双塔的立面设计灵感来自川杨河水的涟漪及自然光的灵动变化,塔身自下而上层层收分,将理性秩序与美学表达巧妙融合。在东、西立面上,四条向上渐变收分的金属线条从地面扶摇而上,无限延展。
The facade design of the Zhangjiang Science Gate twin towers draws inspiration from the ripples of the Chuanyang River and the dynamic variations of natural light . The towers taper as they rise, skillfully blending rational structural order with aesthetic expression . On the east and west facades, four metal lines, gradually tapering as they ascend, extend upwards from the ground, creating a sense of infinite extension.

幕墙通过参数化设计手法,将单元玻璃幕墙板块错缝叠加,营造动态、流动的光影效果。阳光洒落时,金属线条与玻璃幕墙交织出力与美、光与影的韵律,与水纹肌理相呼应,寓意汇聚科技能量、激发创新动能。
Using parametric design techniques, the curtain wall employs unitized glass panels stacked with staggered joints to create a dynamic, flowing visual effect of light and shadow . When sunlight falls upon it, the metal lines and glass curtain wall interplay to create a rhythm of force and beauty, light and shadow, echoing the water texture and symbolizing the convergence of technological energy and the stimulation of innovation momentum.

Creating a Sustainable Landmark
Gensler始终致力于实现设计的净零碳排放目标,在“科学之门”的设计过程中,团队将生态理念、前沿科技与建筑造型深度融合,通过丰富的立体公共空间与绿色节能技术,打造一座绿色与科技并存的可持续地标。
Gensler remains committed to achieving net-zero carbon emissions in its designs. During the design process, the team deeply integrated ecological concepts, cutting-edge technology, and architectural form. Through rich, three-dimensional public spaces and green energy-saving technologies, they aimed to create a sustainable landmark where green features and technology coexist.

项目以多层次的室外公共空间组织为核心,包括塔楼空中阳台、裙楼退台、绿意廊桥、地景公园与下沉广场等,构建人与自然的多维对话场所。同时,高性能单元体幕墙、太阳能光电玻璃、自遮阳格栅系统以及微气候风环境模拟等一系列绿色技术手段,有效降低建筑能耗并优化环境品质。
The project focuses on amulti-layered organization of outdoor public spaces, including tower sky terraces, podium setbacks, green bridges, groundscape parks, and sunken plazas, building multi-dimensional spaces for dialogue between people and nature . Meanwhile, a series of green technical measures, such as high-performance unitized curtain walls, solar photovoltaic glass, self-shading grille systems, and microclimate wind environment simulations, effectively reduce building energy consumption and optimize environmental quality.

在塔楼的垂直分区中,每个区段均设置两处半室外空中露台,通过“可呼吸式”幕墙实现自然通风,为使用者提供垂直维度的亲自然空间。科创人才在此不期而遇,激发灵感与创新,形成富有活力的社交场域。
In the vertical zoning of the towers, two semi-outdoor sky terraces are provided in each section, enabling natural ventilation through a “breathable” curtain wall system, offering users vertically oriented biophilic spaces. Here, scientific and technological talents can meet serendipitously, sparking inspiration and innovation, forming dynamic social hubs.

从结构到幕墙,项目在每一个环节都以最大限度减少隐含碳排放为目标进行设计与工程优化。塔楼结构柱在上升过程中逐渐收分,核心筒在高区整体缩小,既减少了材料使用,也确保了结构强度。幕墙的施工则采用数控化工厂预制生产,取代传统现场组装,有效降低施工浪费并提升品质,为超高层绿色建造树立了新的可持续标杆。
From structure to curtain wall, every stage of the project involved design and engineering optimization aimed at minimizing embodied carbon to the greatest extent possible. The structural columns taper as they rise, and the core tube reduces in size at higher levels, both saving materials and ensuring structural strength. The curtain wall construction utilizes digitally controlled factory prefabrication, replacing traditional on-site assembly, effectively reducing construction waste and improving quality, setting a new sustainable benchmark for supertall green construction.
