The Designer Says | The entire room is an external manifestation of the homeowners inner world—it has its own rhythm, reveals every emotion, bears the traces of time, and allows the mind and body to unwind. Here, it feels more like a realm of the spirit.

For the resident, this is a space entirely shaped by their own desires—a place where they can bring their beloved pets, live freely, and let self-directed living unfold naturally. Everyday life isnt the same everywhere; here, it can be completely different! This is their second home!

A second home, built entirely around the owners preferences beyond the functional focus of the primary residence, embodies personalized lifestyles and emotional needs. It prioritizes relaxation, ambiance, and a vacation-like atmosphere. Serving as an extension of the owners ideal life, it provides a sanctuary from daily pressures, enabling a state of autonomy and leisure.

Upon entering, the space leads directly to the coffee bar. Teak wood paneling serves not only as a natural backdrop for the area but also cleverly conceals built-in storage units within it. This design avoids the traditional occupying presence of cabinets on the walls, maintaining a clean and unobstructed visual quality.

The compact display area neatly arranges simple cooking utensils and ingredients. As you begin preparing delicacies here, the familiar scene and ambiance instantly awaken memories—as if returning to the kitchen cupboard at your grandmothers house during childhood. Beyond savoring the food, a warm emotional connection unfolds.

The round dining table was prioritized, so when designing the adjoining island counter, curved cut corners were intentionally incorporated to create a harmonious aesthetic rhythm. Simultaneously, a concealed door was crafted to perfectly match the height of the feature wall, softening the sense of boundaries while further enhancing the spaces clean lines and cohesive integrity.

The main lighting in public areas consists solely of adjustable pendant lamps positioned above dining tables. These lamps can be flexibly adjusted to alter the placement of light and shadow according to different scenarios, maximizing their illumination functionality.

These design touches hidden in the details consistently prioritize the users comfort experience. Ultimately, while fulfilling practical needs, they imbue the space with an exquisite sense of ambiance and aesthetic expression.

整个房间也是房屋主人内心世界的一个外在显像，有自己的节奏，流露所有的情绪，呈现时间的痕迹，释放自己的身心。这里，更像是一个精神领域的世界。

对于居者而言，这是一套完全由其意愿主导的空间，可以带着自己喜欢的宠物，可以在此自由自在，可以让自主生活自然而然地发生。日常，并不是在哪里都一样，在这里，可以完全不一样！这里是他的第二居所！

第二居所，在第一居所突出功能性的认知之上，完全按照居者爱好打造，承载个性化生活与情感需求，注重松弛感、氛围感和度假感。是居者对理想生活的延伸选择，为他们提供脱离日常压力的避风港，让自主、松弛的生活状态得以实现。

入户直接通向咖啡吧台，柚木墙面不仅成为空间的自然背景，更巧妙将收纳柜体隐匿其中，避免了传统柜体对墙面占据式的呈现，让墙面保持整洁通透的视觉质感。

小型陈列区整齐摆放着烹饪所需的简易用具与食材。在此着手准备美食时，熟悉的场景与氛围瞬间唤醒记忆，仿佛回到小时候外婆家厨房的壁橱旁，在享受美食之外，多了一份温暖的情感牵引。

圆形餐桌优先选定，所以在设计与之衔接的岛台时，特意采用弧形切角处理，营造出呼应的美学韵律。与此同时，打造了一扇与背景墙面高度完全契合的隐形门，弱化边界感的同时，进一步提升了空间的整洁与完整性。

公共区域仅以餐桌上方的摇臂灯作为主灯，其可灵活调整，根据不同场景改变光影落点，最大化发挥照明功能。

这些藏于细节中的设计巧思，始终以使用者的舒适体验为核心，最终在满足实用需求的基础上，为空间赋予了极致的氛围感与美学表达。

As the most interactive communal space in the entire home, the living room serves as the hub for daily family communication and activities. Behind the sofa lies a purposefully designed multifunctional area—a sanctuary for warm family connections and the homes most frequent gathering spot for parent-child bonding. Whether patiently guiding children through homework or sharing leisurely moments of reading and play together, this space becomes a vital sanctuary for nurturing family bonds and preserving cherished moments.

客厅作为整座房子交互性最强的公共空间，承载着家人日常交流与活动。沙发后方，特意打造了一处复合型功能区，这片区域藏着家人间温暖的联结，它是家中亲子互动最为密集的场所。无论是陪伴孩子完成作业时的耐心指导，还是闲暇时与孩子一同阅读、游戏，都让这里成为凝聚亲情、留存温馨时光的重要空间。

一侧的承重墙采用圆弧形设计，与壁炉相互结合，打破了墙体的厚重感，让空间形成自然流畅的贯通性。

这里也在不经意间被打造成了空间一隅。天气寒冷时，坐在此处，看着壁炉里跳跃的火苗，角落生动又鲜活，温馨又舒适。

上下镂空处理的电视背景墙，像一个悬浮的百合子，消弭了厚重感。既为空间过渡打造了边界，又营造了一种轻盈自在的通透感。

精挑细选的白色棉麻沙发，与周边的木质小几、藤编壁灯，羊毛手工编织地毯等巧妙呼应，木质的温润、藤编的质朴、羊毛的细腻，与棉麻的透气感相互交融，让整个区域散发着自然本真的惬意气息，每一处细节都透着对舒适生活的表达。

从公区通向洗衣房、外卫与儿童房的通道颇具巧思，走在其中宛如穿梭隧道。这种独特的空间过渡成了小朋友的最爱，探索通往不同空间的路径，让寻常充满了趣味与活力。

The load-bearing wall on one side features a curved design that seamlessly integrates with the fireplace, breaking up the walls bulkiness and creating a naturally flowing sense of continuity throughout the space. This area has also been subtly transformed into a cozy nook. On chilly days, sitting here and watching the dancing flames in the fireplace makes the corner feel vibrant and lively, warm and inviting.

The TV backdrop wall, featuring openwork detailing on both upper and lower sections, resembles a suspended lily pod, eliminating any sense of heaviness. It not only defines boundaries for spatial transitions but also creates an airy, effortless sense of transparency.

The meticulously selected white cotton-linen sofa harmoniously complements the surrounding wooden side tables, rattan wall lamps, and hand-woven wool rugs. The warmth of wood, the rustic charm of rattan, the softness of wool, and the breathability of cotton-linen blend seamlessly together, infusing the entire space with a natural, authentic sense of comfort. Every detail speaks to a commitment to comfortable living.

The passageway connecting the common area to the laundry room, guest bathroom, and childrens room is ingeniously designed, creating a tunnel-like experience as you walk through it. This unique spatial transition has become a favorite among the little ones, who delight in exploring the paths leading to different spaces, infusing everyday moments with fun and energy.

儿童房以海洋板为主，从墙面到家具都浸润着木材的柔和纹理，仿佛为孩子打造了一座藏于家中的神秘树屋，充满童真想象力，传递出贴近自然的安心感。

主卧空间以大面积的白色墙面为基底，点缀部分温润的柚木材质与利落的黑色元素，中和了白色的清冷，让空间基调沉稳踏实。整个空间从视觉上不单调，也不繁复。

对于居者而言，这间卧室更是家中最让他偏爱的区域，一切都以实用舒适为主，便捷自在，美观简洁。

The childrens room features ocean-themed wood panels, with walls and furniture enveloped in the soft grain of timber. It feels like a hidden mystery treehouse crafted for children within the home, brimming with childlike imagination and conveying a sense of security rooted in nature.

The master bedroom features expansive white walls as its foundation, accented with warm teak wood and crisp black elements. This combination softens the coolness of white, establishing a grounded and stable atmosphere. The space achieves a visual balance—neither monotonous nor overly ornate.

For the homeowner, this bedroom is the most cherished space in the house. Everything is designed with practicality and comfort in mind—convenient, effortless, and aesthetically simple.

整个墙面做了外延处理，拥有鲜明的双面功能，一面是电视背景，另一面则是衣帽间，传统的榫卯工艺与现代钢管元素纵横交错，榫卯的温润质感传递着自然与匠心，钢管的冷硬线条则彰显着工业风格的利落，两种截然不同的元素碰撞融合，既在视觉上形成了富有张力的冲突感，又通过合理的结构排布，释放空间层次。

在主卧与卫生间的过渡区域，特意选用了幽灵门设计。“隐”于空间之中，弱化了区域间的边界感，让卧室与卫生间的衔接流畅自然，生活原本的舒适模样也随之清晰显现。

卫生间的格局也经过了调整，营造出度假的尺度感，让居者无需远行旅居，在家中就能沉浸式享受旅居般的松弛与惬意。

The entire wall features an extended design with distinct dual functions: one side serves as a TV backdrop, while the other houses a walk - in closet. Traditional mortise - and - tenon joinery intertwines with modern steel tubing elements. The warm texture of the mortise - and - tenon work conveys natural craftsmanship, while the steel tubings crisp, hard lines accentuate the clean lines of industrial style. The collision and fusion of these two distinct elements creates a visually dynamic tension while strategically releasing spatial depth through thoughtful structural arrangement.

In the transitional space between the master bedroom and bathroom, a ghost door design was deliberately chosen. Seamlessly integrated into the surroundings, it softens the boundaries between areas, creating a fluid and natural connection between the bedroom and bathroom. This effortless flow reveals the inherent comfort of everyday living.

The bathroom layout has also been redesigned to evoke a sense of vacation - like scale, allowing residents to immerse themselves in the relaxed and comfortable ambiance of a getaway without ever leaving home.

Design refuses to be confined by boundaries—anything that sparks interest gets explored. Life is all work, yet not entirely work, because my work is my life. I adore art and objects of refined beauty, and I love weaving them into my projects. I’m drawn to things with stories, following the traces they leave behind to glimpse how they lived.
