Seaford College Technology Suite And Sixth Form Area Refurbishment

Seaford College asked us to design and then control the full fit out of the food technology suite and to source the furniture for the refurbished sixth form centre.

Seaford's Brief

Seaford College asked us to design both their Food Tech suite and their new Sixth Form Centre in line with their new branding. The project involved a full fit out of the Food Technology suite as well as furniture for the Sixth Form Centre.  This required working with multiple stakeholders and with differing complexities around the various elements of the project.

Our Challenge

Increased numbers of students necessitated a redevelopment of Seaford’s current Food Technology areas whilst keeping good sight lines for staff throughout. Our key recommendations helped to form a strong design team around the project that understood the original vision at the point of final delivery and installation that benefitted students and staff from original vision to final delivery and installation.

Envoplan's Solution

By installing bespoke manufactured lockers, desking, soft seating, new dining furniture and task seating we created a coherent scheme across many different areas. Working with the Estates team at the College, we prepared a number of design solutions that were shared across the senior leadership team to arrive at a collaborative end result which provides the students with a modern and invigorating learning environment.   Our team managed the complete installation of the furniture, as well as the project management and fit out of the food technology suite.
