The Central Shule Chabad is a purpose-built synagogue that serves the diverse South Caulfield Jewish Community. It embodies the essence of diaspora, movement, and the collective journey of individuals from varied backgrounds who come together with a shared origin.

The synagogue features a central foyer space, allowing for the separation of daily and weekly services as well as accommodating various congregation activities, transforming it into a dynamic community building. The main worship space, with seating for 800, surrounds a central double-height volume illuminated by filtered clerestory glazing and clear skylights, creating a serene and spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

The use of materials such as stone façade and variegated limestone floors sourced from Israel adds a physical memory of shared history, strengthening the connection to ancestral roots. The Central Shule Chabad stands as a symbol of unity, resilience, and cultural identity, providing a sacred space where individuals can find solace, inspiration, and a shared sense of purpose.
