Kennesaw State University Fifth Third Bank Stadium

This state-of-the-art facility on the campus of Kennesaw State University is shared by the KSU varsity women’s soccer team and the United Soccer League’s Atlanta United 2. Nestled near the base of the Kennesaw Mountains, the native terrain influences the stadium design. The roofline follows the shape of the mountain backdrop, climbing and cascading in representation of its unique surroundings.

The topography of the site allowed for the stadium to be built into the side of a hill, creating a naturally recessed seating bowl and amazing sight lines upon arrival. This site selection also generated significant construction cost savings. The stadium was designed to be community focused and have the flexibility to accommodate concerts and additional future uses. This multi-purpose venue now also plays host to the KSU football and lacrosse teams.
