Meeting the brief

The design team started with a thorough assessment of the estate’s existing interior elements, including the layout, architectural details, and historic features. From there, the team developed a design concept that balanced the estate’s historical significance with the owner’s vision and practical needs.

The design didn’t need to include the restoration of original features such as fireplaces, moldings, and windows as this had been wonderfullly restored by a previous owner.

Overall, the interior design of this Grade II listed estate in Cornwall required a delicate balance between honouring the estate’s history and character while creating a comfortable and functional living space for modern-day use.
