Underground passage of Central Station (...) create an atmosphere of color and light close to outdoors

In 2008, the development of the underground passage between the train station Brussels-Central and the underground subway Central station was the subject of a competition won by MA². The project which integrates the work of art by the plastic artist Daniel Deltour, is at the stage of obtaining a permit. It stimulates dialogue between existing and the new changes to take place. The renovation of the mosaic floors and lighting appliances go together to maintain the large hallway (to increase easy circulation and comfort) to create an atmosphere of color and light close to outdoors. The serigraphique intervention by Daniel Deltour integrates signals that cover the walls with enamel metal sheets.
