ETERNAL SUNRISE（永恒日出）是一个由马德里市政厅委托、为位于马德里萨拉曼卡区中心的戈雅大街（Calle Goya）创作的场地特定设计。

ETERNAL SUNRISE is a site-specific design commissioned by Madrid City Council for Calle Goya, in the heart of Madrid’s Salamanca district.

该设计是一场关于几何与透视的游戏。天空呈现出温暖橙色调的日出。尽管这25幅图像完全相同并被反复使用，但整体在透视中如同一幅长达1000米的单一画作。为了实现这一效果，图像中线条的灭点必须在特定高度进行设计与安装，使其与现实相吻合，从而营造出连续绘图的幻觉。而尽管照明是静态的，这件装置却会根据街道上观者的位置与视角发展出自身的动态性，并产生截然不同的变化。

The design is a play on geometry and perspective. The sky depicts a sunrise in warm orange tones. Although the 25 images are identical and repeated, the whole works in perspective as a single 1,000-metre-long painting. To achieve this effect, the vanishing point of the lines in the images had to be designed and installed at a specific height to coincide with reality and create the illusion of a continuous drawing. And although the lighting is static, the installation develops its own dynamism and changes radically depending on the position and perspective of the viewer on the street.

该装置由25个图案/图像组成，每个尺寸为2.40米 × 10米，共照亮了戈雅大街1000米的路段。所有图案总计安装了227,600个LED灯。整个装置的能耗仅为4 kW/h。

The installation consists of 25 motifs/images, each measuring 2.40 m x 10 m, which illuminate 1000 m of Calle Goya. A total of 227,600 LEDs have been installed in all the motifs. The energy consumption of the entire installation is only 4 kW/h.
