Located on the prestigious Canton Road in Kowloon, Ports 1961 Hong Kong is a striking example of contemporary design. This 187-square-meter retail space follows the concept of its flagship store, Ports 1961 Shanghai, featuring a modular system and adaptable brand identity for various locations.

Inspired by the migratory nature of icebergs, the store's exterior features a modular tilted cube made from custom L-shaped glass blocks. Two faces are covered in satin-finished glass, while the third displays a sandblasted stainless steel panel. The resulting zigzag pattern and angled projections create irregular reflections that scatter light and color, symbolizing the dynamic chaos of Hong Kong’s landscape. The façade offers different perspectives, reflecting both the tranquility and energy of the city.

The minimalist entrance beneath the canopy provides a peaceful contrast to the bustling street. The façade’s appearance shifts with the viewer’s angle and the changing light throughout the day. This innovative design establishes a unique, introspective identity for the brand, seamlessly integrating with the surrounding urban environment.

Ports 1961 Hong Kong stands as a luminous mirage, captivating passersby with its glowing presence amidst the vibrant cityscape.
