Simple, straight-forward use of materials and forms include concrete paving, wood benches, stainless steel railing, gravel paths, and massed native plantings, allow the drama of the site's expansive views and majestic redwoods, and the modern forms of the architecture to be appreciated. The landscape design resolves the sloping site through the creation of a series of terraces containing a pool and patio, a colorful bee attracting flower garden, and a play lawn.
