Embodying the essence of urban sophistication with a dark edge, this captivating Industrial Luxury home interior boasts a medley of warm wood textures, black accents and raw finishes. The open flow of the abode seeks to highlight ease of movement while maximising the space, allowing daylight to gently illuminate the entire home. Strategically designed to create a moody ambience, statement light fixtures and furnishings were placed to anchor the space — showcasing dynamic depth and dimension. A limewash feature wall jazzes up the communal space with a subtle rough edge, contrasted by sleek built-in cabinetry in a deep wood tone that highlights seamless functionality. Black accents create a distinctive outline to balance the light and dark elements. Introducing a minimalist take in the master bedroom, a dark alluring theme sets the tone for a cosy escape from the hustle and bustle.

Interior Designer’s Thoughts

The homeowners wanted a dark theme for their home with a mix of industrial and refined design elements. The main brief emphasised ample storage space and a play on lighting and accent walls for a compelling design. The showcase of feature walls and statement light fixtures as seen on the communal space and master bedroom highlights elements of sophistication and visual interest. An open concept layout was proposed to create the illusion of spaciousness and improve the flow of movement. As they often host gatherings with family and friends, the built-ins serve as a multi-functional space for additional storage, curated displays and a wine chiller. The interior designer suggested using a combination of earthy materials such as warm wood and metal at various parts of the home for a cohesive overall appearance.
