The Sinclair, a Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel, is a historic landmark that was built in 1929 as the Sinclair Oil Holdings headquarters. Now a luxurious 164-room hotel, it retains its original charm while embracing modern innovation. The renovation preserved key features like the 1929 stone walls and flooring, with guest rooms and baths carefully designed around these historic elements. The double-height executive suite, a prominent feature of the original building, is now an opulent penthouse on the 16th floor, honoring the structure’s legacy.

As Fort Worth’s first “smart hotel,” The Sinclair is one of the most technologically advanced and energy-efficient hotels in the US, the first hotel globally to operate on lithium-ion battery power instead of a traditional diesel generator. The interior design infuses the glamour of the Art Deco era with luxurious materials like walnut, marble, and gold metals, complemented by Texan touches of cowhide and leather. The guest rooms offer a sleek, modern aesthetic, featuring Italian-made furnishings, marble vanities, and wood flooring, which provide a unique blend of historic charm and contemporary luxury that reflects Fort Worth’s distinct character.
