Brentwood School open plan washroom project

We worked closely with Brentwood School to create this state-of-the-art open plan washroom facility.

Brentwood's Brief

This design-led open plan washroom refurbishment project made a refreshing change from the standard-issue school toilet revamp. Following a detailed design phase, throughout which the school was heavily involved, Brentwood School signed off on their new state-of-the-art toilet suite.

Our Challenge

The previous washrooms were cramped and outdated and badly in need of a refurb. We worked with the school to develop a design scheme that opened up the washrooms creating a new space that was bright and classy.

Envoplan's Solution

We created a more open plan feel to the washrooms by knocking through a wall into the main corridor. Opening up the space helped improve the circulation as well as introducing a light and airy feel into the space.

The works included the installation of a structural beam, as well as complete refresh of all finishes and sanitaryware. The school chose full-height cubicles to maximise privacy, and this classy colour combination ensures the toilets will last for years to come. Lighting, flooring, ventilation and other features were all considered and carefully chosen. The Corian hand-washing trough and feature vanity units all add to the wow-factor of the space. Needless to say, Brentwood School are very happy with their new stylish washroom space.
