, aiming to transform the commuting experience and encourage greater use of public transport. The hub integrates key transit links, including the Taman Mini LRT station, Transjakarta buses and the Jagorawi toll road, with a seamless mix of food, beverage and retail outlets, fostering a vibrant and connected urban environment.

The vision for Travoy Hub was to establish a village-inspired setting with three distinct integrated zones: the Plaza, the Village, and the Hub. Completed in 2023, the first phase, the Plaza, features a three-storey circulation space providing direct access to the LRT station, flanked by innovative retail and community spaces, including a vibrant gathering and event space for the local community.

The second phase will comprise the Village and the Hub, featuring blocks that gradually rise in height, interwoven with modular units, pocket gardens, courtyard spaces, and dedicated walking and cycling lanes to guide people seamlessly through the development.

These zones will include more accessible and affordable community uses as well as retail, food and beverage, chemist, hospital, hotel and a wide range of commercial offers to support micro, small and medium enterprises from the nearby Kramat Jati and Pinang Ranti districts.

The scheme also uses branded wayfinding as a thematic tool for the cycle and walking lanes as well as for general communication, underpinning the unique character of the development and helping to unify the scheme.

The concept emphasised blurring the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, incorporating strong biophilic elements throughout the buildings and seamless openings that connect interiors with the surrounding environment.

The architecture is shaped by the concept of flow, with buildings designed for natural ventilation and air conditioning limited to individual units. This is expressed through a series of curved forms, while the Plaza’s façade features aluminium fins and panels that enable airflow, provide solar and weather protection, and cast striking shadow patterns as the sun moves across the sky.
