Inside A Pretty Pink Scandinavian Farmhouse Dwelling

To bring out the seamless spatial flow of the home, the dining area is merged with the kitchen to create a sense of openness. An immaculate blend of pink and grey hues creates a charming yet cosy setting — reflecting a bright and airy atmosphere perfect for bonding with loved ones. Curved edges paired with classic marble-grained surfaces highlight a polished and sophisticated allure. Interior Designer’s Thoughts

The homeowner requested for a combination of Scandinavian and Farmhouse design with a pink colour theme for their home. To showcase a cultural background of the homeowner, Peranakan tile designs were selected to overlay the floors of the entryway. This also gives a lasting impression upon entry as compared to the monochromatic style throughout the rest of the home interior. The living room remains loosely furnished to cater to their evolving lifestyle and needs, whereas ample storage solutions are heavily focused in the kitchen. As a pet owner, having a designated space to clean and bath their pets are crucial. To achieve this, the interior designer suggested installing two sinks enjoined with the kitchen carpentry — exhibiting a functional yet seamless design.
