Family Centered Design

The interior design was aimed to lighten the hearts of patients and visiting family and friends with the rich green of the nearby Forest and Park for the 21st Century in Matsudo as a motif for creating a space with a sense of nature. The two zones, Green and Sky were created in the children’s ward, and the floor, wall, ceiling, counter, and signage were arranged to follow the theme for the children to feel as if they are surrounded in nature. The hospital is filled with playful ideas to create smiles on children’s faces.

患者と家族のこころに寄り添うデザイン

周辺にある松戸の２１世紀の森と広場の豊かな緑をモチーフに、自然を感じられる空間づくりを目指し、患者だけではなく家族やお見舞いに来た友達など、だれもがホッとできるインテリアデザインとした。小児病棟では、緑・空という２つのゾーンをつくり、床・壁・天井・カウンター・サインをそれぞれのテーマに合わせ、子供たちが自然の中にいるように感じられる設えとし、「病院」であっても遊び心をくすぐる、笑顔を生み出す様々な仕掛けを散りばめた。
