The Industrial Technology Center at North Georgia Technical College is a stunning addition to the Clarkesville campus, nestled in the foothills of the Appalachians. Fulfilling a steep multi-functional requirement, from machine labs to public interface, the building has redefined NGTC’s stature and culture.

Each of the two main program aspects – education and community interface – consists of two unique “blocks” with two different but complementary material palettes.

The Industrial Technology Center showcases live educational programs (CNC and HVAC labs) while also offering a substantial community interface and resource. Educational classrooms and labs are daylit, providing smart, inviting spaces to work and learn. The Economic Development Center includes a major event space, workforce training and staff offices.
