This bold dwelling cleverly nestles into a narrow strip of land sub-divided from the neighboring property. The front façade presents a rich and complex composition of materials. Sections of timber and glass provide relief from the solidity of the brickwork, while the cranked feature window creates a geometric shift as it folds out from the facade.

Pragmatic issues were the initial design considerations: optimizing planning efficiencies, creating a feeling of space on a slender site, and allowing light to access the internal spaces. Throughout this elegant three-bedroom townhouse, there is a commitment to simplicity, proportion, clean lines, and carefully selected, authentic materials.
