Montauk Retreat

The Montauk summer home has great light and is steps to the ocean. Unfortunately, its previous finishes were dated and cloyingly cliche. Inspired by Georgia O'Keefe's striking yet simple New Mexican homes, we chose a refined design language and set forward to reinvent the home. We bleached flooring, updated fireplaces, and the finishes throughout. With strategic interventions, a warm color palette, and a casual decorating scheme that was ideal for an active young family and their friends.

We ultimately transformed the home into one that was calm and serene; a perfect sanctuary for our clients to enjoy during the pandemic.
