Project Brief

The design objective and philosophy for the proposed Celebration Palace is to create both an urban environment and a building with a contemporary architectural expression and a deep urban sensibility rooted in local cultural and historic significance.

The proposed design recognizes the symbolic importance of the DQ Celebration Palace, and its architectural character, a modern interpretation of the traditional “Najd” Style, complements the DQ’s urban context and upscale neighborhood.

The ceremony complex, located at the entry gate of the Diplomatic Quarter, is designed to become a landmark in the DQ, and will showcase a high end, luxurious, but yet restrained building, capable of receiving a large number of guests, high profiled dignitaries, Royal family members as well as the King himself.
