Martha’s Vineyard Farmhouse

On a bucolic parcel of land in Chilmark,

Sullivan + Associates

and White Arrow transformed the town's original post office into a contemporary Farmhouse.

Our clients love to cook and entertain, so we designed their kitchen with a beautiful blue Lacanche oven, butternut and marble work surfaces, Waterworks fixtures, custom cabinetry to conceal top-of-the-line appliances, and a nearby stocked pantry. The home's interiors take inspiration in the nearby ocean and farmland, with indigo-dyed canvas, warm textural linen, natural fibers, and leather.

Taking inspiration in the building's rich history, we brought in classic millwork, shiplap, and custom Shaker cabinetry throughout the home. We paired vintage designs with an international array of modern furniture, sourced distinctive lighting and wallpaper, and contemporary art to help the home feel equal parts refreshing and relaxing.
