This development aims to offer an appropriate response to the rising demand for housing while also preserving the surrounding landscape. Much of the space within the building blocks is currently lost or underused. By upgrading and activating this inner area, Malle can densify by increasing the effective building footprint. A key intention is a respectful densification of the inner-city block. Existing qualities are carefully considered, with the aim of reinforcing and unfolding them.

The building volumes are positioned with great precision to retain as much of the existing greenery as possible and to minimise damage to the current vegetation. The meandering road is likewise determined by this principle. The stream acts as a unifying element, and the plan seeks to enhance and integrate it. Altogether, the proposal densifies the Malle building block while giving it a park-like character: the heart of the block becomes an open shared landscape for everyone.
