Tako is a sushi restaurant and cocktail bar in the Ostiense quarter, a former industrial district home to a power station, a river port and a gasometer, an area of Rome that today has a truly underground vibe.

Opened in the year of the rabbit, a sign of luck, prosperity and creativity and inspired by the fantasy Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Tako is an eclectic and visionary project, a dream of colors played out on a grand scale.

Butterflies, flowers, rabbits and lollipops populate an environment where food and design blend together to bring to life an emotional, timeless and ageless experience that remains imprinted on the memory of its guests.

Tako is glamour and irony, it tells a story that invites one to dream.

Magenta arches and niches, sky blue, pink and Klein blue macro sofas, armchairs and tables, wrapped in mirrors and metallic surfaces welcome diners in a harmonious and playfully provocative whole, polarizing the space towards a poetic world placed in a gritty setting.
