Memorial Hall, Marlborough College
Marlborough
2014–
The Grade II listed Memorial Hall (1925) commemorates World War I. Today the auditorium is used for a wide range of activities including school assemblies and professional concerts. The modernisation of the Hall will improve facilities both front and back-of-house. A new foyer, increased capacity, improved sight lines, an enlarged stage, and new dressing rooms will enable it to fulfil its potential as a home for drama and professional concerts.

The masterplan creates a new public space between the Hall and Science. Public realm improvements here recognise the importance of the Neolithic Mound from which, todate, the campus has turned it back
A new accessible path connects the Hall to Court some 3m above (chapel, dining hall, library, various boarding houses and classrooms). The forecourt maintains the formal relationship between Hall and chapel
