We acted as general contractor in collaboration with Munich’s 1zu33 Studio to realize yet another subtly elegant space for Aesop. Though our task was largely to manage and carry out the project, we had our hands on a few elements, such as integrating a heated air curtain into the ceiling, drawing and overseeing fabrication of the razor-thin shelving, and installing the coved ceiling with asymmetrical lighting arrangement, which despite being on the ground floor gives the illusion of daylight peeking through from above.
