Alta Roosevelt is a new 33-story, 500-unit apartment building located in Chicago’s vibrant South Loop. Outdoor amenities include ground floor plantings, cafe seating, welcoming entrances, and a dog run. Rooftop amenities are located on the third, fourth, and fifth floors, as well as a green roof atop the 34th floor. The largest amenity deck is located on the top of the four-story parking garage, which includes grilling and dining stations, a fire pit, swimming pool, hot tub, sun deck, cabanas, and hammocks. Behind the pool area, a lushly landscaped Zen garden provides space for respite, and a large lawn area serves as a flexible communal or event space. Berms provide vertical interest within diverse seating and gathering areas across the deck. Four-season native and adapted trees, shrubs, perennials, grasses, and sedum mixes throughout the deck provide color and texture throughout the year.
