The redevelopment provides a total of 246 social housing apartments and more than 800 private apartments, a 160-bed aged care facility and approximately 180 independent living units, developed over 9 stages. The redevelopment also features a community wellbeing precinct providing aged care, childcare and a range of complimentary services, as well as public parks, a garden and bicycle paths.

The first, Aura, is a four-storey building made up of one and two-bedroom apartments. Its facade is a collection of richly textured and subtly coloured pre-cast concrete and features jewel-like metallic finishes and defined window detailing.

Local Apartments comprises 120 dwellings across two buildings and features a rooftop terrace as well as a neighbourhood park inspired by the public squares and parks of Carlton. The building presents a smooth, subtly coloured and richly textured design treatment. Local Apartments was completed in 2013 along with Elgin Street Social Housing.

As part of Stage 3, the eight-storey Elgin Street Social Housing building was developed for the Department of Human Services Victoria and forms part of a precinct that includes two private apartment buildings and a public park. The building comprises 112 social housing apartments, including a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom units. Its design presents a series of subtly articulated forms which resonate with existing building typologies, the local streetscapes and the public park.

Completed in 2014, Zest consists of two boutique residential buildings, comprising 110 apartments made up of one, two and three-bedroom units. The design establishes a bold presence in the Carlton streetscape, with an intricately composed facade of unique materials, alternating textures and coloured finishes.
