An impressive residential and multi-use development stands tall in an evolving downtown neighborhood.

Part of the massive Hudson Exchange West development two blocks from the Hudson riverfront, VYV is a luxury apartment building with views of Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty, and the local Embankment Park. The sustainably-designed building includes hundreds of residential units along with street-level retail establishments and a large, welcoming public plaza. The design team created green spaces at the entry plaza and on the eighth floor residential amenity deck that are linked by a cascading vertical and horizontal ribbon element. By incorporating dark grey brick reflective of local masonry tradition and pairing it with contemporary glass, the team created a sophisticated building exterior. The dynamic VYV stands out among new developments throughout the city, while fitting in with its surroundings.
