With great sensitivity and respect for the past, vilablanch has restored and refurbished a modernist flat in Barcelona's Eixample that is a living reflection of its past.

The recovered Nolla mosaic floors, together with the original mouldings and woodwork, create a map of how the house used to be in the past. The new distribution of the spaces and the careful selection of materials incorporated into the house allow for a contemporary interpretation.
