This charming property overlooking a river valley offers stunning views, beautiful trees, and rock outcroppings and is the perfect retreat from our client's main residence in Chevy Chase. Our clients are a modern-day Brady Bunch and so are building a home for themselves, but also that can host their children from each of their original marriages and their growing families. Inspired by our West Virginia Lake Overlook project, we enter at the uphill side, with a carriage house with a guest suite off to one side, then a bridge across to a timber frame porch that wraps around to a two-level screened porch. One upper bedroom and a sleeping loft overlook the great room with stunning views over the valley. The owner’s suite has a cathedral ceiling and a bay window in the owner’s bath with river views. The lower level has great rec. room space, a bunk room and connects out to the side yard with great entertaining space and patio with a hot tub. We will be carving out other retreats and campsites and hiking trails for full enjoyment of the property.
