Russian cuisine restaurant PROSTORY is an architectural embodiment of boundless spaces and visual codes of Russian culture.

It combines elements of pre-Petrine architecture, folklore imagery and a sense of spaciousness associated with Russian nature. The architectural concept is based on modern interpretations of the Russian style, where traditional motifs are reworked and presented in a new light, without directly copying historical examples.

The main idea of the volumetric solution, 'Gardarika' - the land of cities - is realised through a white stone stylobate that unites various functional blocks such as a restaurant, banquet hall and restrooms. Every element of the building, from the terraces to the vertical communications, contains references to Russian architecture and folk traditions.

Special attention was paid to the guest's path from the car park through the park, where natural forms contrast with the geometric outline of the restaurant. This allows guests to gradually move from the hustle and bustle of the city to the tranquillity and grandeur of Russian architecture.
