The project is located at the intersection of Hujing Expressway and Yingdu Road in Minhang District, Shanghai. The site is right next to the entrance of Hujing Expressway. Therefore, the design adopts a strategy of opening the site to the urban interface, inviting people to step into it and enjoy the interaction with nature. The Garden is not only a gateway for the surrounding mixed-use urban blocks and an urban node that attracts flows of people, it also functions as an urban park that serves the surroundings and a green urban living room that grows with the city.
