This residence located in Clovelly, Australia, is the new home of Bailey Meredith, the co-founder of the Baina brand, along with her husband Ali Williams and their pet dog Gruff. The residence is just a short drive from the beach, making midday swimming a part of daily life. The neighborhood is lush with greenery, featuring towering Moreton Bay fig trees, blooming frangipani, and purple bougainvillea lining the streets, creating a peaceful and charming community atmosphere. The regional architectural styles are diverse, combining the classical charm of Federation-era houses with the elegant simplicity of 1930s brick apartments, providing residents with a rich sense of history and a delightful living experience.

梅雷迪思夫妇选择的住宅是一栋1930年代建造、八个单元组成的两层小型公寓楼，其外观经过精心保留，公共区域设有锻铁栏杆与彩色玻璃窗等细节装饰，体现建筑独特的工艺与品味。室内为两居室布局，沿着延伸的走廊，各功能空间依次展开。厨房与餐区首先呈现，随后是小型阅读角落和梅雷迪思与母亲共同翻新的复古亚麻橱柜(linen cupboard)，为空间增添手作温度。客厅与厨房保持适度距离，形成视听与活动的分隔，确保居住者在共享空间时仍拥有私密感。

The residence chosen by Merediths couple is a two-story small apartment building constructed in the 1930s, consisting of eight units. Its exterior has been meticulously preserved, with details such as wrought iron railings and stained glass windows in the public areas, reflecting the unique craftsmanship and taste of the building. The interior features a two-bedroom layout, with each functional space arranged along an extended corridor. The kitchen and dining area are presented first, followed by a small reading corner and the vintage linen cabinets (linen cupboard) renovated by Meredith and her mother, adding a touch of handmade warmth to the space. The living room is kept at a moderate distance from the kitchen, creating a separation between the visual and the active areas, ensuring that residents still have a sense of privacy when sharing the space.

浴室保留原有铜币砖(penny tile)铺面与深釉搪瓷浴缸(enamel tub)，兼顾功能性与历史感，同时展示Baina即将推出的药妆系列(apothecary line)。卧室位于住宅后方，北向窗户带来充足日光，主卧与客卧均注重舒适性与私密性。室内设计中，简单而醒目的天花线条与传统松木地板(pine flooring)与折衷而极简的家具相呼应，如可蜷曲休憩的沙发、装满黑胶唱片的模块化储物柜以及融合现代灯具的复古衣柜(vintage dresser)，形成层次丰富而精致的生活场景。

The bathroom retains the original penny tile flooring and the enamel tub with deep glaze, balancing functionality with historical charm, while showcasing Bainas upcoming apothecary line. The bedroom is located at the rear of the residence, with north-facing windows providing ample sunlight. Both the master bedroom and the guest bedroom emphasize comfort and privacy. In the interior design, the simple and striking ceiling lines complement the traditional pine flooring and the eclectic yet minimalist furniture, such as the curvaceous sofa for relaxation, the modular storage cabinet filled with vinyl records, and the vintage dresser integrated with modern lamps, creating a rich and exquisite living scene.

She focuses on layering meaningful elements in the space to create a unique and lasting living atmosphere. The entire residence takes into account both functionality and comfort in its detailed design and spatial layout, while also demonstrating the owners unique control over the rhythm of life and aesthetics. Every corner of the home not only holds memories but also provides convenience for daily life, making the modern apartment, in the fusion of historical底蕴 and personal emotions, present a warm and exquisite living experience.
