Inward Urban Yard

A compact work-yard building organized around an open-to-sky void. The architecture turns inward, prioritizing light, air, and controlled retreat from the street.

Solid–Void Massing Logic

An abstracted massing study of a narrow urban plot. Built volume wraps a central yard, establishing enclosure, porosity, and climatic moderation.

Ground Plan as Spatial Field

A central open yard anchors all workspaces along its edges. Thick perimeter walls define hierarchy, privacy, and circulation without subdivision.

Section Through the Working Void

A vertical cut revealing stacked programs around a double-height yard. Light, air, and movement are organized by section rather than façade.

Light and Ventilation Logic

Daylight enters vertically and diffuses laterally through the courtyard void. Air movement is shaped by volume, height, and openness rather than mechanical expression.

Work Yard as Interior–Exterior Room
