Text description provided by the architects. On a plot of land with quintas and lush groves, located in Parque Leloir, a minimal-sized house was projected that would, in the short term, change its function. Thus, this refuge in the middle of the forest was conceived, which was initially designed as a rehearsal room for a music band, but the pandemic and the desire to live in a place with more garden turned it into a family home.

Each space was thought out to meet the needs of those who would inhabit it for a limited time, aiming for minimal dimensions to reduce costs and to ensure that in the future, the rehearsal room would have dimensions suitable for its use.

A social space was then created, integrated with a separate room that has ample storage space.A large expansion of the living area, oriented Northwest, allows much of the year for that space to be used almost as much as the interior, and in the summer, the shade of the surrounding trees creates alternative gathering places.

Placement on the land and coexistence with the outdoor space - The placement of the trees and the orientation were two important considerations when designing the house and its location on the plot, which was realized in wood both inside and outside to achieve a total integration of the house with its environment. On the exterior, impregnated pine boards were used, and on the interior, Guatambú plywood was used for flooring, walls, ceilings, storage spaces, and the kitchen.

Considering the future function of the space (rehearsal room), one of the needs when designing this pavilion was for the house to have several walls free of openings to protect the acoustics. A window was then proposed in the bedroom and a sliding door in the living-dining area, but the great advantage was the glass perimeter line that runs throughout the house and allows views of the treetops from any corner.
