PARASCHIS HOUSE

This trapezoidal plot shaped, is almost flat until the last third which has a pronounced slope, where a guest apartment is located.

The main entrance, on the corner from the street above, emphasizes the entrance to the house. Then, an entrance patio, limited to one side by the façades of the house, where the thick stone walls and wooden slats, which visually protects the corridor bedroom wing, are combined. On the other side, a pergola-parking and the service area. The house is developed on the ground floor, deployed in the plot, ensuring the best orientation and sea views from every room. Curved walls define the living room with fireplace and the dining room with skylight, occupying a central position in the facade, with large carpentries and are flanked by one side for the bedroom area and by the other for the service area, kitchen and  porch with barbecue.

Are highlighted in this house: the water presence, as a pound from the entrance, a jacuzzi continues and ends in the large swimming; and definitely the use of stone. The kind and manner of put this material provide a special and exquisite texture of the volume of this house.

CASA PARASCHIS

El solar de forma trapezoidal, es prácticamente plano hasta el último tercio donde presenta un pronunciado desnivel, donde se sitúa un apartamento para invitados.

El acceso principal en esquina, desde la calle superior, enfatiza la entrada a la casa.  Luego, un patio de entrada, limitado hacia un lado por las fachadas de la casa, donde se combinan los gruesos muros de piedra y las lamas de madera que protegen visualmente el corredor del ala de los dormitorios. Por el otro, una pérgola-parking y el área de servicio.

La vivienda se desarrolla en planta baja, desplegándose en el terreno, garantizando la mejor orientación y las vistas al mar de todas las habitaciones. Muros curvos definen el estar con chimenea y el comedor con lucernario que ocupan una posición central en la fachada con grandes ventanales y  están  flanqueados por el área de dormitorios y por la zona de servicio, cocina y porche con barbacoa.

Se destacan en esta casa: la presencia del agua a partir de la entrada, como estanque, se continúa en un jacuzzi y culmina en la gran piscina; y sin duda el uso de la piedra.  El tipo y la manera de colocar este material otorgan una textura particular y exquisita a la volumetría de esta casa.
