Project Details

The Royals project refurbishes and extends a functional but very generic, two-storey youth centre part funded by the Mayor of London to create aspirational new facilities for the Royals youth service.

Dan led a complex commissioning process with the GLA’s regeneration team and LB Havering regeneration staff. This incorporated extensive consultation with user groups, and even fundraising as the architect. The Royals is an eye-catching redevelopment that sets out to achieve a lot on a limited budget.
