Contemporary Lakefront Residence

Views and accessibility were key in this project, to maximize ease of mobility throughout the home as well as views to the gorgeous yard and lake from every room on the back of the house. All walls dividing Kitchen, Living and Dining were removed to create a simple open living space. Three sets of 12' sliding glass doors were installed along the back of the house with access to the new expansive deck overlooking the lake (and future in-ground pool coming in 2022!). To ensure no views were blocked, cable railing was installed at the deck, with glass panel railings along the deck off the Owners' Bed. The Kitchen was relocated and expanded, adding a walk-in Pantry, expansive island, with multi-height counters. A small Mudroom, stacked Laundry closet, and new Hall Bath were also added.

Though no space was added to the 2,700sf brick ranch, the home feels twice as large as before. The light and airy interior is a spacious oasis for homeowners and visitors alike.

The adorable Cottage-style shed provides ample storage for lake accessories and gardening tools.
